This might rile some people but I'm one who still thinks that the SIL is a suspect. IMO, he either did the act himself or had help in getting it done. There had to have been a motive for this kidnapping/abduction. I'm thinking she took an Uber and showed up unexpectedly. There has been a post saying that a pizza was ordered. I think she had something she wanted to say and it did not go very well with her daughter and son-in-law. He has admitted taking her home. I do not see where anyone else had a motive.
I think she told them that the "the bank was closed" and that they were not getting anymore money from her. I have tried and just cannot see where the daughter and son-in-law could afford a $650,000 house. She was a poet and he was a biology teacher and a bass guitarist in a local band. The math just does not add up to me. Maybe someone else sees it differently, I don't.
We don't know how much they make but also SG makes a lot obviously, maybe she bought it for them.

THIS. Just my own 2 cents on this. I have always said to myself while watching true crime stuff that I understand that family members are looked at first, there is a reason for that. But if I truly did not do anything wrong, I would be screaming from a mountain top to get your investigation with me over and use your resources to go find my loved one. I would be telling everybody that I am innocent and have nothing to hide, there certainly is not a shortage of media around to get that word out. Again, that is just what I would do.
Bbm.
THIS ^^^
Esp. the bolded.
We have seen some carefully-worded statements; but nothing after that.
And again LE have said they aren't prepared to clear anyone yet.
Imo.

LE and lawyers, including SG would have likely advised against that. It probably wouldn’t do much good for them anyways. Everyone would analyze every move and thing they said with such scrutiny. If they are innocent (which I suspect they likely are) I can’t imagine how all the suspicions would impact them emotionally.
I would love to be a fly on the wall in the place where they are all staying right now.

Well, you have to admit that the number of times a bomb squad is called in is a bit high.
? No I think it suggests that this may be related to NGs kidnapping.

Yep. They’re also in their 50s. We’re not privy to their entire employment and financial history, they’ve probably been saving for decades.

Honestly, the SIL ship has long sailed for me. That’s not him in the footage.

You can’t discreetly hatch a plot for someone else to kidnap and murder your MIL without LE finding out.

I know AB keeps insisting it’s him but I’ll remain skeptical until she offers up any kind of proof or explanation, which she hasn’t been able to do yet.

Heya SW

HL TMZ said there was mention that this person's fears their freedom was at stake (sic)

So I thought maybe they are illegal... or even have warrant out on previous...
Yes in his latest letter he said he didn’t want to lose his freedom. That’s telling me he was a conspirator at least and wants to be paid for his “services” and leave town.

I can't believe swat would move in with all these cars there, journalists....neighbors so close. IMO I wonder if they got calls to leave? IMO Hopefully the suspect is there, even though phone /pinged there, does not do away with himself. IMO

Ahhh gotcha Dinks. That would make sense especially in the current climate

They may have been tracking him beforehand.

Undercover cops, other types of forensic/digital tracking.

Anyone know if that's standard operating procedure for warrants?

If it's potential POI already then they are under surveillance incl devices.

If someone they've only just traced, think recent msgs to TMZ, they may not have had a chance to get someone out to location. We can hope they do at least request a local officer to sit and watch building until they group and get out there.

Is there a live streaming feed to watch what's going on?

Any small flashlight or penlight can be held in the mouth. Doesn't have to be some specialized equipment.
Looks like the type of bike light I used to have. It was tiny, the outer was silicone type material and on the top a big area to press for on/off. I think I could have operated that with my teeth. Had a really bright LED light on it.

They put a down payment of just under half the purchase price. Both work, it’s doable imo.
