They are not at that location where people are saying, this was intentional for the media. That is what I believe and my opinion. Because that street they shared that they were off of is not near that address. Unless, since the POI was not home, they are locating them through the cell, like they were doing???

I SO hope that's right!

This video on the backpack is spot on! I had a tire replaced at my local Walmart after work today and I strolled around the camping aisle.

I found the exact Ozark Trail backpack attributed to the suspect. I couldn't get over how small it was. (In the video, they briefly show a good comparison of a sharpie marker against its width). I couldn't imagine what the suspect would pack going to or leaving from the crime scene. A change of clothes or two. Maybe ropes, knives, tape. Whatever it was, it's not much.

And in the price for the bag is the same in this part of Ohio as they say it was in Tucson, AZ: $10.88

I do not know where the media are but am curious if there is any air traffic there? I see a what i think is a drone but no idea of it is there.
There are no aircraft or drones in the area right now - I live nearby

I wasn't around this thread until page 1000.... how did DE become a person of websleuths interest? I understand that TC/SIL was one of the last people known to have seen NG because of the family dinner, and that DE is TC's bandmate.

Is that all there is?

How do people know where DE lives? Should people be sleuthing DE and DE's hypothetical criminal record if he hasn't been named as a POI by LE?
DE has been mentioned for quite some time IMO. As far as sleuthing, probably not. I think the coincidental location of tonight’s action has made loose lips.

I think there will be some kind of blanket to cover Nancy.

It makes sense to me if they found strangers DNA in an area it shouldn’t be (very personal areas of the home) on the other hand if strangers DNA was found in living room, they’d still question it but most likely ask her female friends that visit.

I am hoping the released statement about DNA is refers to this, in a specific place, even better if it's not just touch DNA

Exactly. If someone came into my home to check DNA they would encounter that of a few workmen, friends, cleaning team, etc.
I suspect the DNA that they found is coming from a place that that type of DNA shouldn’t be.
For instance, It might be normal if the workmen’s dna is on the door knob or kitchen counter, it’s not normal if the workmen’s dna is found in your private bed sheets.

Both. I haven't heard any of the sort. She obviously had a pool boy but that doesn't necessarily require him to gain entrance into her home. He could enter and exit through the backyard.
I’ve seen numerous references to NG having help of various kinds (pool, yard work), plus there was a NYT article today that placed friends in her home days before she went missing: Nancy Guthrie’s Friends Refuse to Give Up Hope She’s Alive

As I stated, it’s not surprising that DNA was found in her home outside of hers or her family’s. That’s what I was responding to.

Now if LE has isolated DNA outside of hers, her family’s, friends, and general acquaintances/hired help, great! That’s a good thing as far as potentially solving this case.

Here’s an interesting interview with two retired FBI agents (Katie Couric interviewing). They lay out some convincing opinions that the front porch drama was staged to detract attention from the actual abduction through the rear door. So, two abductors… And is there a possibility that some small bit of evidence was possibly thrown/dropped into the pool?
I do think the primary perpetrators were at the back door smashing that light and going in through the back door. I have thought NG was taken out through the front door because of the blood (and that was why nest cam was taken out) but it sure would make far more sense if she was taken out through the back door. Much more private, no chance of anybody seeing anything. MO

Such tension again. I hope the suspect doesn't have children or a family, because it will be very terrible.
In certain situations, LE will ensure that children in the home do not witness an arrest of a parent(s). But in a situation like this, if there are children, there may be no way to shield them if SWAT makes entry into the home. Ultimately, it is the parent(s) who put children in harm's way by engaging in illegal activity. Not LE.

You didn't say anything new, but I feel sorry for the children.

I see. I didn't see that article that placed friends inside of her home.
