Maybe they located the man in the January 23rd ring cam?

Usually they have emergency judges on call to issue warrants so I'm a bit surprised by the wait if it is warrant-related. MO
Maybe they already have the warrant. Maybe there's a standoff, or negotiations taking place, or a hostage situation, IF this is indeed a serious POI. We don't know. Nothing is leaking...presumably no drones etc. This might be the real thing.

At the least, it sounds like the local LE has learned from their previous experience with the guy in Rio Rico.

This has gone on long enough now that I'm having to rethink what I know.

I don't see how any family member could have a kidnapped NG stashed away unless they have at least one accomplice. AG & TC are literally staying with SG. They can't just disappear again and again to take care of Mom. Either that's not what happened, they have an accomplice, or she passed away and they're just scared senseless and waiting for the jingle of cuffs. But that leaves the mystery of why they would not make any attempt to bring this to a close rather than just sit and wait meekly to be caught.

Every time I read the theory that NG accidentally died in the process of a crime or argument, it just makes no sense to me that anyone would risk moving her body. It's risky enough to move a body when you planned for it. But to move one you didn't expect to have, without any sort of plan, is just insane. Short of a drug addict, or gang with no fear at all of consequences, I just can't see that happening.

If someone - anyone - actually kidnapped NG for a big payday from SG, they have really screwed the pooch. By trying to cash in without communicating with the family, they were dismissed as a hoax. Either providing proof of life is sadly no longer an option, or they are too stupid to figure out how to provide it in a way that it's not assumed to be AI.

Since we can't take anything Nanos says at face value, because he contradicts himself constantly, I have no idea where this poor lady might be. None at all. It's so sad.

I thought she went home in an Uber??? Did I miss something???
She went to AG’s in an Uber. It was supposedly to have dinner and possibly game night. “Family” gave her a ride home. Her 84th birthday was on 01/27/26 so I had wondered if, perhaps, they may have been celebrating her birthday that night? I have not seen this reported anywhere. Just a thought that crossed my mind. To those leaning toward family involvement how do you explain the man on Nancy's porch at 2:12 a.m. with a gun?

I think they are still waiting. IMO it would have been leaked if there was an actual negotiation or SWAT action already happening. Social media is too powerful for getting information out in seconds nowadays

Is it possible they kidnapped her for ransom but because of the stress of the situation (they said she was scared) and being without her medication she died? What would be their options then?

This has been so intense the entire time. Someone give insight to why we are so gripped by this story? My husband thinks I'm nuts and my children are like mom please give me your attention! Just so many crazy ups and downs
Not to be too grotesque, but I think we also tend to associate most modern abductions of women and children to be sexually motivated. While no one has ruled that out here, it’s harder to explicitly point to that as a motivation. It feels confounding and unique, especially to those of us who engage in the true crime world. A high profile ransom case like this is incredibly rare, especially when it’s of a sweet old woman. It is a crime that is deeply strange, and done to a victim that is highly lovable. And that’s before you add in a high-profile celebrity who many people wake up to every day. It’s hard to look away.

An accomplice of the family member imo
