The strange things are why do you remove and 84 yr old woman from her home and what do you do with her? Somewhere I read - among all the comments everywhere - that a former FBI experienced agent said the abduction appeared to be staged. Staged well after she was abducted? Staged by who? Why staged? Just an interesting perspective. Not much else to consider right now.
This makes no sense. The only way an abduction could be staged would be if she willingly left with her dressed up friend in the mask and is hiding somewhere to fool her family. Oh and she willingly bled all over her front walkway as a further attempt at hide and seek! The former FBI experienced agent has just told us why he is now former agent. lol JMO

What’s the latest? Three more detained and released?

How long is this kidnapper going to wait to get paid. He has made threats in the past. Plus, he never(that we know of) provided proof of life. Does he even have NG or is he just an opportunist?
I think they’re the legitimate suspect(s), based on what LE has said (knew details from crime scene). Personally, I'm leaning toward Nancy never being taken alive, and that she’s buried in the desert somewhere, and has been for two weeks. No real kidnapper wants to extend the ordeal.

Reminds me of a suggestion I saw elsewhere…to put Nancy’s phone in a drone and fly it around Tucson to see if it would connect with her pacemaker since it acts as a “homing beacon”.
Smart!!!!

Sounds like she had an App to control the garage door, likely gave family access to it as well. The App is how they knew the garage door timing imo. Usually, you would open the door with the App (some have sensors for cars and it auto opens for the vehicle) and you would close the door with the wall button near the interior entry door. Easy, quick. Avoids the 3 steps and curved path at the front entrance in the dark.
SIL and AG may have had one of her openers on their visor as well.

Well ok, however how is that relevant to the case?
I see relevance. The previous pool company that NG regularly used has presumably undergone DNA testing. The family wanted a new company to service the pool until the investigation has played out. JMOO

Yes. Interestingly enough, it also appears to be the earliest and the middleist. 😐

Dang it.

It's a free country. Many elderly people choose not to have these.
My Mom's apple watch alerts my sister if she falls. Unfortunately Nancy did not have her watch on.

Yes.

A couple of days ago DNA was discussed.

A housekeeper's DNA in the bedroom would probably be expected.

The pool person's DNA - definitely not expected in a bedroom.

That about sums it up. However, they have collected DNA at NG house that isn't associated with anyone known to her. That is promising.

It did spike at 2am, but as explained on news recently, the spike could have also been the device was programmed to check in once a day to make certain that it was communicating.
“A pacemaker not only has the ability to create a heartbeat, triggering a heart to beat, but it’s also a sophisticated monitor of the patient’s heart rhythm, and a pacemaker is programmed to check in once a day, just to check in with its communication device and then ultimately the app that monitors it once a day,” he explained.
MSN
Once a day data dump is different than a triggering alert. If your heart rate triggers an alert it won't wait till the 2AM regular data dump to notify the doctor.

The article states that .. not me lol. She never collected her own mail either, she had to have help. It points out that her mobility was indeed quite limited. I have had 5 femur surgeries and I can still walked to the mailbox. I just wonder exactly what limited her mobility to the point she could barely walk. Osteoporosis I have but it's treated with infusions, back issues I know are mobility limiting issues.

Has anyone read an articles that stated exactly what her mobility issues were from? age related, a fall, surgeries, etc.

I have not found one yet
No one specifically stated which leads us to believe age related but that’s not necessarily true. We can’t assume…

Well then it is just a statement of fact, no need to pose a question.
Yeah. I didn't see a question in the post you quoted. I was just responding to yours. lol.

Crime scene staging is done by a perpetrator to cover up the original crime. The goal is to avoid arrest, to get control of the investigation, and confuse and distract LE and the public. It is basically a hoax to cover up a crime.

I am not sure what the FBI agent had in mind, but for example, this could have been a robbery gone wrong, resulting in the death of the homeowner. The robbers decide to cover their tracks and pretend a kidnapping had taken place. This serves to scatter the police looking for the homeowner and kidnappers. LE typically then does not do a great job securing the crime scene, or examining the home for evidence. They use their resources out in the community searching for a victim who may still be alive. They are thinking kidnapping, not death during a robbery.

The ransom notes could just be part of the staging, or an attempt to make a big pay day off the death.

Same situation if someone killed NG in or outside the home. Stage it like a kidnapping.

Ummm, since this site came back open a few hours ago I am noticing quite a few posts that are not quite relevant, or folks asking questions that have been answered many times, many times already. Are some sleuthers bored and just posting because they are bored? Very inconsiderate for those of us whom are here to actually try and analyze the case on an ongoing basis until hopefully it is solved.
Since your moniker includes "data" in it, you can provide an incredible service to the thread by summarizing the known *facts* chronologically and posting them. It should help with the repetitive questions. It's really hard to keep up with this thread.

Amateur opinion and speculation only

Not sure if posted yet, but thread moving so fast hard to tell, so here is reporter Brian Entin's tweet from 2 hrs. ago:

Pool guys in Tucson don't go in the house. Usually they enter through the back or side yard in the back. MO

I'm not familiar with the area, but there have been posters that say there are many abandoned mines in the area close by. Maybe they just took her there instead of buried. JMO

The Range Rover does seem to be the most promising lead so far. I know they said the driver was cooperative and they did not end up arresting him.

But what did they find or see that caused them to search it, photograph it, seal it for evidence and then tow it away? Would that happen if it were just a nothing burger? It didn’t happen with the Rio Rico incident.

Hopefully they’re in the process of checking any DNA they found in it against Nancy’s and any other DNA found in relation to this case.

One of the rules here is not to belittle other posters, and to be civil with each other. TY.

Does the pacemaker require an internet connection to send those alerts to the doctor? If not, what sort of connection does it use? If (speculating) the internet had been disconnected at NG's home, wouldn't that prevent that sort of alert being sent?

Or perhaps only certain kinds of pacemakers send those alerts and others don't?

All MOO
Ours uses wifi. I think the doctor has to setup the alerts. It's possible the kidnapper knew about the pacemaker device and unplugged it before awaking Nancy so her racing heart wouldn't send an alert.
