Yes, seems too much of a coincidence to me. They could have picked any day, but they didn’t. Another question I have, if AG and/or TC are not involved, why would LE return to their home and spend hours there? Same with their neighborhood searches? The night she was taken was when she returned from her birthday celebration. It is a weird coincidence that a random kidnapper took her that same night. Highly unlikely that a random guy taking her for ransom or a burglar would have known it was her birthday. So was her disappearance that night just a coincidence or is there something darker here?
#2My two cents: This was not a burglary gone bad. The timing was well planned. Hands down, there was more than one perp and someone acquainted with her. EITHER: 1) Perpetrator/s were hoping to take her alive & keep her for ransom, but because she passed during it all, ransom attempt was slow to come; they knew they could not provide proof she was alive, but eventually thought worth the attempt/s. 2) It was a staged kidnapping by someone she knew – or of her. I hope they find her and find the evildoers.
I believe they were waiting for their ride. What was happening in NG home during that 30 mins between the Nest doorbell footage and her pacemaker disconnecting? This seems quite a long time. Were they looking for something? Were they discussing what was happening with Nancy? Did she have time to get anything to take with her? (If so, you'd hope someone would've noticed this)
I'm just trying to imagine that scene - if NG was fast asleep, it would be terrifying - and might take a while to "come to" and realise it isn't a nightmare.
And do we know that the watch is actually at the foot of the bed? This sounds like evidence but is it?As far as the ransom - they may not have known that she was the mother of Savannah Guthrie when they initially intended to and/or did burglarize her home but once they had taken her with them and the news went national they may have decided to write the ransom note for financial gain thus the delay.
The ransom author knew that Nancy's smart watch was at the foot of a bed.
This came from a post by @UsernameRequired. It is post #28,442. The photos were taken by Fox News 10 at Culver’s. I have just pulled a copy of the second photo from this post which is a pullback showing the whole back of the vehicle. It is a Range Rover.Where is this image coming from? It is a range rover that was found/taken at Culvers restaurant. This is a land rover.
And why send the ransom note to TMZ? TMZ is a tabloid that focuses on celebrity "news" and gossip. Wouldn't you expect a kidnapper-for-ransom to keep the communication between him and the person from whom he expects to collect the ransom quiet? Anyone even remotely familiar with TMZ knows that they don't do quiet. They do splashy headlines, and the more sensational the story, the better. It's as though he is seeking the media attention. MOOWe don't know WHAT ELSE was in those ransom notes. Harvey Levin said they were articulate and well written. You don't think they are going to tip off an obsessed celebrity stalker by putting out a profile saying this is a love sick , possibly poetic, perp along with a bid for ransom? NO, just the ransom demand was made public. HL has refused to reveal the whole ransom note, publicly. IIRC, one began DEAR SAVANNA. That's a tip off right there.. Addressing her directly. NOT ONE "EXPERT" has posited my theory. Pay attention to what you DON'T hear in the MSM and from LE. JMO
Photo from Fox News 10 shows what appears to be a paper plate which has been covered by LE on the night they towed it.
(Note: I see the vehicle is a Land Rover. I have referred to it as a Range Rover in a previous post.)

ESPECIALLY ON PRESIDENTS DAY!!!!Retired FBI agent urges rapid DNA testing in Guthrie case: 'You don’t wait for FedEx on Monday morning'
Expert weighs in after search warrant executed in Nancy Guthrie disappearance | Fox News
A FBI search warrant was executed in the Nancy Guthrie disappearance case, as investigators race to process DNA evidence from multiple scenes.www.foxnews.com
NG was obviously injured in the home invasion (blood). If she did not survive the injury, no criminal mind would compute with moving her, but criminals do odd things. This is exactly what happened in my opinion. There are several factors supporting that theory
MOO, Memory onlyI think today we will get some answers from the FBI
I am very excited about the glove; I feel a game-changer in this case
The first thing they will do is compare it to the unknown DNA found inside Nancy's home
Second, if they need to will be Codis ( basically people who have been in trouble with the law in the past)
And then DNA Genealogy (combines DNA testing with traditional, document-based research to trace family history, confirm relationships)
The FBI will also be checking for DNA in Nancy's vehicle, which was taken away
So more than one sample to test one on one
I think the Sheriff and FBI already preliminary know, another reason why the statement was given out yesterday
The profile will be built, then the FBI will put it into Codis and law enforcement will take it from there
But he would know his DNA would be discovered then, correct? I only have gardening gloves, so I’m not familiar with that type of gloves.I would think to do anything he would have had to remove the gloves. they were so big and cumbersome that even grabbing things would be difficult.
What do you all think will happen when they upload the DNA into CODIS? Do you think they will get a match or do you think this is the perps first time doing something like this and has never been arrested before?
I'm leaning toward--this perps first crime, he's not in CODIS and genetic genealogy is needed in this situation.
What are your thoughts?
And do we know that the watch is actually at the foot of the bed? This sounds like evidence but is it?
Even if so, there are other ways a false ransomer *could* have known where the watch was. He could have seen a police report, he could have been a worker in her bedroom before, he could be a bad cop lol etc.
I do not know obviously whether the note was really from someone involved, but I do think there could be other explanations re the watch statement.
IMO.
Guesses are it was a lost glove from someone not connected.Hopefully there is a DNA hit. Genealogy takes longer
If she did not survive, I agree...no point in moving her. But assuming she did...he probably panicked. He would have taken her somewhere that she would not be discovered. And that...sounds ominous, since that whole area is surrounded by hills and desolate areas.NG was obviously injured in the home invasion (blood). If she did not survive the injury, no criminal mind would compute with moving her, but criminals do odd things.
I don’t think she left her house alive, but I don’t understand the reasoning for removing her. Ransom? Maybe it’s connected, but I go back and forth on it.NG was obviously injured in the home invasion (blood). If she did not survive the injury, no criminal mind would compute with moving her, but criminals do odd things.
