New theory of mine: We saw body damage on NG's newish car. Seems like that may have been fairly recent, because I would expect NG to have that repaired in a reasonable amount of time. The car towed from the person's home today, who was detained on Friday evening, but not arrested, also has body damage.

Is it possible that NG was involved in a fender-bender with another person, which resulted in some rage behavior by that other person? Could that person have followed NG to her home and created this tragedy in the name of revenge?
Possible. If there was a fender bender, given that both cars had damage, it seems that NG would have called LE to come and write up a report. And there would be a record of that.

If they had an argument at the scene of the fender-bender or he believed she was at fault and, if LE were called to the scene of the fender-bender, he may have become enraged if LE sided with her.

Road rage is real. Getting revenge with another driver is real.

Interesting that a suspect's car had damage and NG's car had damage.

Is there a source for this? I have not seen one after going back several pages.

I’ve wondered about another mask too, but it’s his mouth that looks odd to me (what little we see of it). Yet he held that little light in his mouth. I can’t imagine doing that with a mask.

The way the intruder is bundled and padded up and completely masked up makes me question just what I am seeing. If not for a glimpse of a mustache I couldn't guess just what sex this person is. IMO there is something really off about the disguise. Seems like overkill.

I didn’t see any damage on her car. It looked like a reflection to me but maybe I missed something.

I thought Lantana had little spikes. I don't see it much here because it's classed as a weed.

Doesn't seem smart for the suspect to grab something that could prick a hole in the glove IMO.

This is an interesting theory. People do rage and ruminate over some stupid stuff sometimes.

I’m glad the family has been officially cleared. I didn’t want them to be suspects and it didn’t make sense to me. Nancy really seemed to love AG and her son and it just didn’t compute.

I’m also hoping or assuming this means the people from Friday are involved and LE is just working on putting it together and gaining enough evidence for an arrest.

There was no damage to the car- it was just a glare from lights.

Could you please post a link to the damaged vehicle? I have watched video from many sites and it looks as though the vehicle is without damage.

I keep thinking that L-guy may not have even entered the house, but was the driver and his partner was in the house doing whatever he ( or she) was doing with NG. L-guy readied the front door to bring NG out. If he did go inside, it may have been to help carry NG out, if she was unable to walk because she was incapacitated. There HAD to be a vehicle nearby, maybe near the garage? All just speculation, as usual. JMO
I agree that it's quite possible he never entered the house. Perhaps he didn't seem to have any stress because he wasn't seeing what was going on inside. Given his disguise, he seemed to have been a full partner in the crime but may have assisted in driving, smashing lights and possibly assisting in carrying NG to the car. JMO

even with a second mask, i think we can still be sure of the relative positioning of the eyes and mouth, which are the only facial features i feel truly comfortable we can infer from the images.

For the Sheriff to be able to clear the family, the Sheriff may believe that they have identified their suspects through DNA that places them at the crime scene, vehicles, cell phones etc.

All just my opinion but it seems that the only way he can clear the family is to be sure, based on DNA at the crime scene and other evidence, that they know who the suspects are.

JMHO
I do not believe it is necessary for authorities to locate a valid suspect in any case before clearing another possible suspect entirely! The family would be cleared regardless IMO. If there is another suspect, that is all well and good, but irrelevant either way to determining complete cleareance of another. If anyone with a legal background says otherwise, I will gladly retract my thoughts on that.

I feel that since he stated in the email that he has a prior burglary charge, and this was after someone in LE leaked and then retracted that the general theory is 'botched burglary', that there is a solid chance that this guy and the perp could be one in the same. That he could be trying to mitigate his penalty by minimizing his crime. LE gave him the opportunity by publicizing that statement minimizing the crime as a 'botched burglary', and I think it was probably on purpose to try to lure him back out.

If so, it worked.

JMO.
This is very close to what I believe.

I said this before but I believe it’s either someone she knows, distant relative, or friend of a friend type thing. I don’t think it’s anyone in her “immediate circle.” I also believe this could tie into some type of delusion related to NG/SG. So that’s where I’m at.
I believe there is more than one person involved in her disappearance, at least one man and one woman. I believe it’s a silver/ grey vehicle with dark rims. I believe it was targeted. I believe she is still alive but in extreme danger of passing as things with her and whomever possibly has her are reaching a critical point. Her needs were underestimated and the walls are beginning to close in around the perp(s)

Prayers for Nancy and family.

MOO
Why do you think there is a female accomplice? I have thought of this as well.
I agree, at least two people.

I think a neighbor reported a young couple (male and female) in a car his driveway, strangers in the past couple of months?

NG might come to the door if a young female was crying and pretending to be in distress?

Could that fender bender have occurred on Jan 11th when they were looking for other footage? To tie the two incidents together?

I think it might have just been a reflection that looked like a fender-bender had occurred. I haven't seen anything mentioning that she was in an accident. JMO
