The car at the swat location was VERY damaged.
The post was referring to damage to NGs car towed from her garage. Waiting on sourcing for this assertion. All of the video I've seen looks like NGs car is not damaged.

Well, I made a post yesterday AM about patterns I was noticing in the investigation. Specifically that both raids resulted in homes where it was a mother and son. I believe in Carlos situation it a MIL/SIL
Situation but it still stands. Both raids involved homes with mom/son ( male female) family situation where no father was reported. Both homes also had silver, (possibly grey) vehicles searched. Carlos, from the first raid, his vehicle was not seized. The RR was seized. Both vehicles have what appear to be dark rims. Of course this is my own amateur opinion. It was just something I noticed and couldn’t shake.

Thanks Cherry: I posted awhile back about a male and female team after reading about what a neighbor reported. I cannot recall all the details of the report.

Young couple in their 20's in neighbor's driveway, looking around. It may have been a silver car. I am not sure. Maybe someone else here remembers it.

I thought a female would be able to lure NG to the front door, make NG let down her guard, etc.
People here said there is no way NG would come to the door even if there was a young girl looking distressed.

Then when Lantana Man on the front porch looked to be in his 20's I was still thinking about a male/female team.

Good catch on the M/F pattern on part of LE suspects.

I think an older female would also fit the bill. Would also serve as the caregiver while NG is being held.

But wasn't the opening and closing of the garage door recorded (2 to 3 minutes) when NG was brought back by family to her house that night?
If NG was taken in her own car, there would be another time recorded later where the garage door was opened and closed.

Or am I mistaken about the first sentence....though LE knows that the door was opened and closed within 3 minutes timeframe, right?
I wonder why it took so long to tow NG’s car. Could it have been previously processed while it remained in her garage?

I do not think her source has any legal culpability. Internal sanctions or firing if they are LE/ govt yes, but court of law problems no.
The source is not out blabbing on a podcast that the BIL is the prime suspect in basically all caps and then later saying, like it’s an afterthought, but of course nothing definitive yet….
Ashley Banfield seemingly got played or embellished or out right lied.
🤥
If I am the Guthrie fam suing her would be my pleasure.
JMO
imo, freeze her out. SG can use her contacts to do so.

Yes. This is Nanos second term which he won in razor thin margin and recount and included an investigation. He also lost after his first term when he was investigated by the FBI for illegal use of RICO funds in 2016 before winning this last time (so he campaigned 3 times).

BTW the Sgt. Cross mentioned in the post you replied to has a lawsuit against Nanos. As does the Lt. Lappin that last ran against Nanos - he had an election scandal that was investigated by the Pima County board of supervisors.

Thank you.

He sure seems incompetent so we can hope right?

I posted similar above. I don't get the end game at all or the big why?
I think the suspect or suspects foolishly and arrogantly thought they could get paid even though Nancy did not survive, either by plan or by accident. Once they realized no one would pay without proof of life, the goal quickly became not getting caught.

This “rat” character sending emails to TMZ was made from whole cloth to make the kidnapping look like a foreign operation, complete with underlings (like themselves) who inexplicably know the ins and outs of the operation but can’t be tracked and silenced by the kidnapper(s). And even though the info is given to the FBI, the kidnappers apparently won’t vacate their imaginary jungle or desert hideout.

The “rat” is a low level criminal, but it was nonviolent, they swear! Feel pity for them. They will stab their associates in the back for the right price. And since they’re just a poor underling, $50k or so will be enough for their meager needs.

They point the finger at Mexico, multiple conspirators, etc. I don’t believe any of that is true. I also don’t think they’d have the guts to withdraw any bitcoin if deposited.

Now that there’s a fourth email, either they’re feeling the heat or they did all this because they’re horrible and they like the attention.

IMO, of course.

Or at least reassess her dearly-trusted sources. jmo
I am always wary of anonymous sources that have no continuing follow up. AB is standing in the wilderness alone now with egg on her face. Credibility? POOF! jmo

I found the DNA expert's story very interesting (around the 13 min mark)
I wasn't aware they cannot use the biggest ancestry databases to find a match.
I am very curious about the results of the DNA evidence of what they found at Nancy's house aswell as the glove.

For whatever reason, I hate videos, I hate watching videos, so here's a transcript:
"It is Monday morning, we have received a fourth letter from the same person who says that he knows where Nancy Guthrie is, and he wants money, uh, in return for the information. Essentially, he wants the reward. So, I have something to say to you, um, and I've already talked to the FBI about this, that, if you are not real, um, you're committing a crime, and you should know that, and this is a serious federal crime.

If you are real, this is the fourth letter you've sent--and I should tell everybody that in this letter it says, um, "I know what I saw five days ago south of the border and I was told to shut up, so I know who he is, and that was definitely Nancy with them." Uh this is the second time he has referred to more than one person involved in this. He said there is a main person and there are others, and he said it here. Um, he is saying that, um, Nancy was taken to Mexico. Now this is what he's saying.

I'm not going to vouch for him, but this is the fourth letter, we have sent them all on to the FBI. And, um, he also says one of the reasons he's worried about coming forward is he has a record, he has, uh, a burglary on his record from ten years ago, so.

I don't know if you're real or not, if you're watching this, but if you are, um, and I have told the FBI that we're going to do this, they know this, um, that, um, if you're worried about getting this money, um, and you really do have this information, send it to us--you're sending us these letters, send it to us, we will forward it to the FBI, and that way there is a record that we have that you supplied this information. If they find her and they find the kidnapper, then, at least there is evidence because we have it that you're the one who provided the information. So, this is a way for you to get that money, if this really is legitimate. Send us the information, we will pass it on to the FBI."

  • Line breaks are added by me after the fact for readability, and do not correspond with the way this was stated. It was pretty rambly
  • Whatever you may think of Harvey Levin/TMZ's ethics, HL is not a dumb person, and is a licensed attorney in California
I dislike videos too when consuming news. I prefer to read too, so TY!

FWIW I do not think her car was damaged. Look at photos of 2025 Subaru Foresters. The bumper has some weird topography at the corners that could possibly look like damage, especially in the dark/poor lighting.

Since NG was taken away by car, there is no identified place to start a search. Complete waste of time and effort to randomly guess and start searching. If she is somewhere outside, she is much more likely to be found by a random member of the public: eg, recently, Melody Buzzard. Or, more famously, the McStays.
The MmcStays did have organised searches

I posted a photo in a subsequent post. I do not have personal knowledge of damage. My opinion that it could be to my eye.

I also questioned whether it was a MF team, simply because someone would probably be needed to keep her calm. If the original ransom note is to be believed, they wanted money (which would require keeping her alive). I thought, for a minute, someone would need to provide a calming presence given her heart issues?

Who knows though. This case has so many twists and turns, that my thoughts are all over the place. The only consistent thought is that I really want Nancy to quickly make it home safely to her family.

I wondered whether a woman could be involved to care for NG, maybe some kind of. Nurse or carer?
Yes I just made the same comment. Women as part of the kidnapping team could be the nurse, caregiver?

The presence of a female may be less threatening to a female captive?

I'm talking about the videos posted here from her neighborhood of thieves in the weeks leading up to her disappearance.
I think you still need source.
