Sounds to me like neither house nor glove DNA was in CODIS and they also did not match eachother. So wait, was the house DNA run through CODIS yet or no? I read one report that it was, but wondering if it was misreported and it was only the glove.

Okay; I trust your judgement. Thanks as always.Wishful thinking. I can't see them flat out lying like that.
You are making the wrong point. Of course there have been celebrities who have had their relatives kidnapped in lieu of a ransom. I am asking about kidnapping a celebrities relative because you are infatuated, or obsessed and you feel this will get you closer to them, or make some sort of a statement. Look, I am not saying that it is or is not out of the realm, I am just stating that I don't think that is what it is. If NG has any role in this, it would be because the kidnapper new she is wealthy, IMO.Plots to kidnap beloved family members of well known people is not out of the realm of possibilities.
Harvey Levin is saying this....
Slim I don't disagree with the majority of your premise, video would appear to show a pretty cool character. To that point he's no dummy and once caught it's gonna take evidence to convict him. What evidence? Ski mask, backpack, gloves, jacket, holster, shoes, etc. If tossed or hidden they can be found/recovered. If it were me I'd burn everything including my socks and underwear then scatter the ashes a handful at a time as I drove 100 miles around the desert. Maybe, just maybe someone remembers seeing (suspicious?) smoke from a chimney or yard in the recent past?Welcome!
My observation of the perpetrator, at least for the duration of the video LE released, suggests that he doesn't seem the type to panic over much. He seems eerily relaxed in an increasingly high stress situation, even when he appeared to not anticipate the front door camera. No rush, just a mere speed bump. This suggests psychopathy, and psychopaths tend to be calculating, oft-grandiose, and heavily sadistic criminals. And this one seems organized to boot, and on a prior-planned mission of a specific target.
To your point, I don't think this one is responding that way at all. Panic and paranoia lead to mistakes and getting caught quickly. And since it appears this perpetrator didn't rush or panic in committing this act, it is unlikely that he is rushing or panicking after committing this act.
JMO.
Major Blow? Did they really put that much faith in random discarded gloves that were found on the side of the road like 2 miles away?
I read this as the ransom note person gave up information! Just my opinion / interpretation. Lights action!Harvey Levin is saying this....
OK, the "no longer talking about the ransom messages" thing is odd to me.Harvey Levin is saying this....
Some house DNA must've been tested because they said it was male and not that of family or close circle of acquaintances. jmo (They had hoped that random glove DNA would match unknown house DNA)Sounds to me like neither house nor glove DNA was in CODIS and they also did not match eachother.
No match in the criminal data base. But the kidnappers might not have a criminal history. So then they need a normal population DNA data base to determine the identity. If LE wants to go that route. IDK.IMO it's a dead end since there is no DNA match.

"The DNA found at the property is being analyzed & further testing needs to be done as part of the investigation."
Likely what the kidnapper has done. Assuming this was a kidnapping for ransom gone wrong (victim died soon after the kidnapping), I can see the kidnapper(s) driving deep into the desert where there is no surveillance and no people, burying the body and burning all the incriminating evidence in a campfire. IMO.Slim I don't disagree with the majority of your premise, video would appear to show a pretty cool character. To that point he's no dummy and once caught it's gonna take evidence to convict him. Bbm.Hello @OldCop It's nice to see you in this thread. I agree with you, however, I would like to offer another opinion to the question.
Day 17/18 and no known verified sign of life, with what we know medically about the victim, and her being harmed in her home before being abducted (blood on porch) , the probability of survival being taken to a second location is super low. Again, we're over two weeks in. Objective today - identify the offender to locate the victim. IMO
