I’ve cropped the screenshots to approximate the same perspective as the unbackpacked man image. I tried to grab several of the same area for comparison. Hopefully obviously, I’ve not altered the images except bring up contrast and circling the area of interest.

Look at the differences.

I’ve added a postfacto screenshot from the other side that was on Fox News: Blood drops visible on the porch of Nancy Guthrie’s home | Fox News Video
I never noticed any of this before, great work! Is it some type of box? It looks like pipes or something like that, but I’m not sure what? 🤔

I can see I have made a grave mistake being absent for a few days/900 pages. I'm trying to locate a post or something that can tell me what we KNOW right now. I've been trying to keep up via the news, but I wanna know what Websleuths know/suspect now. This has been a crazy active case over the past few days. Can someone either post a run down or direct me to the last run down post?

Go catch up with Brian Entin's coverage of this case on YouTube. Then come back. He's the BEst.

Just think it was a botched robbery. When NG tried to flee, she fell, unconscious, did not recover. Shocked at NG lying there so took nothing except NG so there would be no possibility of blame for murder. Could not cover up break in. Body dumped. Don't believe Bitcoin scammers were related to abductors. Criminals are long gone from Tucson. Just my latest theory, subject to change at a moment's notice.
Why not just leave her? Or still take stuff that would be dead weight to have to figure what to do. They spent 40 minutes there apparently so they took some time in the house. No car has been reported. But no real tracking from what I can tell.

Also, it was not until I was making the comparison that I realized with a creepy shudder that non-backpack man seems to be holding something in his right hand (viewer’s left), which blocks a bit of his pants on the leg. But he’s holding it a bit out from his body. It is too pixilated for me to tell what it is.
I see it too, what is it? Pipe? Knife?

From the beginning there was no search for NG. The sheriff and FBI were centered on Who Done It with inside the home searches, outside the home, cameras, family interviews, computer searches and a Door Dash guy miles away. Nothing to find the missing NG. Why no organized Tucson searches? No community involvement.

There were searches. There were even out of town searchers come to help.

Considering the landscape the helicopters searchers may have been able cover more territory to do the work of more ground searches.

There seems to be good visibility from above. Not thick impenetrable vegetation but inhospitable for on foot searches? Imo.

Here are some pictures linked

Same - I've stated many times good ole' Wally World has single handedly help convict many a criminal. ☺️

Yes I thought that too! To me it looks like a syringe but its so hard to tell.

Ancestry became huge because genealogists recommended it. Personally, I feel they shot themselves in the foot by not doing Y or mito. I liked 23@me with its oldest interface. (The newer one was horrible and cost its then-owner her own husband and the company, its reputation).

Gedmatch was great and had lots of tools but its owners had to sell it after the whole ruckus caused by GSK and mostly, Paul Holes advertising himself. After that, lots of people pulled their DNAs out of the Gedmatch. Gedmatch as we know it is gone.

FTDNA: I spent a lot of money on but so far, to no avail: my ancestors have no big Y matches. But I’d agree, they are great and have good specialists. But, they do work with LE. To their credit they don’t make a secret out of it.

I think everyone thinks the same: I pay to buy the kits and here is what I get for my money. I don’t pay them for LE or insurance companies to crawl over my DNA for free. Realistically we can’t prevent it but I think most people will stop using the commercial companies tainted by poor protection from either. Young people feel way worse about it, IMO.

Practically nothing is safe, though. However, let us say someone broke into a DNA company and found two close cousins of a criminal and through them, the criminal. Who can then prevent these cousins from suing both the company and LE? The company may say that their DNAs were not “critical” in the process, but: if they know that the cousin has been arrested, they understand that their DNAs and maybe, their trees had to be examined in the process, and it is enough to say: you looked at my DNA without my consent. Not because these cousins care about the criminal. They may be happy that he is caught. But at the same time, they didn’t give their written consent for a 3d party to look at their personal DNAs.

Think of the huge lawsuit against 23@me when the 3d party broke into it. It was a different group, but the issue was about data privacy.
Thank You for the info! A bit hard for me to follow some of this, not knowing about all the history.

What I got from this is the Big Question, When should a warrant be allowed, with private DNA info? When is a criminal case “worth” exposing private DNA?

Yes, I do see what you mean. It appears his right hand is gripping the handle of something (not a closed loop handle, but one where the handle ends are open and pointing away from his hand toward the ground). And beyond the gripped handle is a “bunch” of something.

I cannot clearly make it out…but possibly a closed (but not strapped closed) umbrella with unusual handle? A combined umbrella/walking stick?

ETA1: let me add that one item I’ve seen that has a somewhat similar handle is an electric leaf blower, where you wrap an exterior extension cord through the handle and loop it before plugging it into the blower at the base of the handle. But the “bunch” showing at other end doesn’t look like a blower…and in this context, why would one be there?
ETA2: Also, the irregularly spaced black blobs at outer ends of “bunch” would make sense as knobbed ends of spokes of an umbrella…?
ETA3: As you say, it also looks like he is grasping something in his right hand. It looks to me like he could be grasping a couple of things. Possibly a formed sheet metal or a hard poly material cover for something, like floodlights or perhaps wiring or pipes entering into the home on the exterior? And below that, what looks like the curved handle of some kind of tool. This is not the same shape as what I see, but I'm thinking some kind of cover like this:

And fairly coincidental that our favorite J, “neighbor” of NG, who came from miles away to be interviewed, wears a ring on his right hand. As seen in his second interview.

Really not sure why he feels the need to say anything at all.
He does. It’s on the ring finger of his right hand. He has a pounchy tum too.

I noticed on the last tmz article regarding a 5th email they’ve received, it’s a new writer! They really need to stop giving them the publicity. Hand it over to FBI and stop announcing it! It’s giving them what they want- attention and notoriety!

Also, have you noticed that tmz mentioned the search at gun shops was cold and essentially, starting they’re grasping at straws for a lead. This must be purposeful, because I doubt LE has absolutely nothing to go on. Maybe they’re waiting for a slip up by the perp and want him/them to feel like they’ve gotten away with it?!
Interesting. So there has been a 5th letter now demanding close to $6mil in a cryptocurrency other than bitcoin (evolving to be more sophisticated and less traceable as they watch this unfold) and having some sort of media involvement (sounds like attention seeking). FBI Contacts Mexican Authorities in Nancy Guthrie Kidnapping, New Ransom Demand

So if NG was taken over the border in the days after the abduction, where did they stay during those days in the US? Some sort of temporary housing, motel, airbnb? Doubtful that they sat in a car in the desert for days on end. In Mexico, they could simply ask NG "what meds do you take? And then just go buy them without a prescription." This would favor not spending too much time in the US before the border crossing (if that did happen) to ensure that she got the medications she needs.

Do we KNOW the neighbor called APS? IS there a link to this? TY
Yes, it's been shared several times. It's also in the media thread.

It looks like something more in his left hand as opposed to right (right side of pic).

DNA mismatches:

Washington state woman had two children with not the same DNA as her. Court case attempting to take her children. She was pregnant with third child, and jury members watched the birth. Same results. Not her DNA. Jury actually accused her of being a surrogate. Enter DNA specialist. Woman had two DNA present in her body. She kept her children.

DNA accused man of murder, but he was 100% in prison at time of murder. He had a twin. Identical twin's DNA did not match his either. Prosecutors had no idea. Dropped charge.

Alaska man needed a bone marrow transplant, but he had atypical DNA. Match found in Germany. Surgery to his arm. Four years later the man had completely become the donor's DNA - completely.
