I have asked that all along. It’s her mom and her decision, regardless of what FBI says.Wouldn't a SG reward bring forth the culprits, if we think NG is being held for ransom?

OUCHWondering where these reporters go to the restroom!
Have also wondered the same thing. MOOTwice I've looked at that picture and twice it made me think of camo. The other picture with the backpack doesn't seem like it has a pattern. Were there two people out front? One with backpack and one without?
I was under the impression someone left it before the kidnapping because someone said Nancy never used the front door due to the steps out front.I'm just wondering with all these comments, what is the implication of this card having being left? The sheriff has addressed it which was posted up above. What makes it such an issue?
Especially since it's been as low as $68k. I believe as of today, TMZ says it's nearly 6 million. I've been asking that same question, but we can only speculate about what that means.Wouldn't a SG reward bring forth the culprits, if we think NG is being held for ransom?
We don’t actually know when it was placed there. We only know the sheriff said the neighbors called APS the same day that NG was reported missing by the family and that it was there when BE did his video walk up to the front door which I believe was on the 3rd.Back to that calling card from Adult Protective Services. How the heck did ANYONE get near that house undetected and get to the front door with all the media and cops etc crawling all over the place? When was it placed there , if anyone knows? jmo
I think it's smart for SG not to put out a reward. Even if the ransom isn't real- they are being extorted for money by some form of criminal. Putting out a reward of their own money shows they are willing to pay and only encourages people like the ransom author to continue their antics.Wouldn't a SG reward bring forth the culprits, if we think NG is being held for ransom?
I can't seem to find where I read this... But from what I understood, SG recorded the Sunday morning services and NG and her friends would gather together and watch them at the friends house. When NG didn't show up, the friend (possibly neighbor, idk) called AG to check on her mom. Im assuming AG was called because she lives nearest to her mom. IMOOLE is law enforcement, which includes the Sheriff. But consistently reported is that it was NG’s other daughter, AP who reported her mother missing after NG’s friend called her out of concern because she hadn’t shown up to listen to the church service as planned. I have not seen any indication of a neighbour checking up on NG and noticing she wasn’t home.![]()

“That morning, Guthrie failed to show up at a friend's house to watch a church service online, as she routinely did, so they called her daughter, Annie, who lives nearby, a source close to the family told NBC News.![]()

At 11:56 a.m., the family arrived to check on her, calling 911 at 12:03 to report her missing. Patrol cars arrived at 12:15 p.m. and the search for Guthrie begins.”

And it's totally bizarre that the woman from Adult Protective Services was allowed to walk up to the house - possibly over the drops of blood - and leave her card on the door.
We don't know for sure, but I tend to think APS came by because of the call that NG was missing. Still, some elderly are abused. Governments wouldn't need APS departments if that didn't happen. Personally, I think it should be a capital crime.I think it's weird too. APS showing up at the request of LE or AG is one thing, but a neighbor calling feels like an overstep, especially considering police were already involved.
Also wondering if perhaps the backpackless image was a thumbnail found in the Nest cache for the 02:12 registered humanoid sighting, and the video clips we've seen come from slightly later; e.g., 02:20-ish?Brilliant analysis. The timing of all of this matters, I think, and after their initial presser with the times, LE hasn't detailed too much to the public about their further thoughts of the times of everything.
If the suspeccts were really in the house for 41 minutes, that seems like quite a bit of time. Curious what they were doing . . .

The jacket looks like it has a hood from the back. Also, I faintly see what looks like a watch (apple watch?) on the right wrist in the sleeve. As a small experiment, I tried to roughly estimate the time of this video using shadow length. Huge caveat here that this is very, very rough.
I started with this frame.
View attachment 646451
Then I made a very basic ratio of height (foot to top of head) and shadow length (top of head to end of head shadow).
View attachment 646452
The ratio: 20 blocks / 33 blocks = 0.6
Then, using mooncalc, com, I set the date to Feb 1 and placed the location at Nancy's home.
View attachment 646453
With a object to shadow ratio of 0.6, I adjusted the time slider until the shadow length grew to 1.05 meters (1.75 meters x 0.6).
The corresponding time is approximately 02:20.

So, likely that just means my methodology is sloppy if the clip is from 02:12, but it's fairly close. Closer to 02:12 that 01:47, anyway.
Is there anything to be learned from this? No. lol

They’re treating the ransom letters like just another one of their gossip stories. The worst, most traumatic thing for NG and her family and it’s fodder for them. Honestly despicable.TMZ's promoting itself in the midst of a horrific situation. I find it revolting.
Articles about the gun store visit specifically say they asked the owner to run for purchases of firearms in the past year. Holsters don't have serials and are not on FFL bound books, and a purchase order search would not likely list "holster" but "other" or "misc".

Moo, I think AI distorted the original image of the gun holster to look like that (like a strap hanging, instead of the holster outline).would you also take a look at his other hand? When a colorized AI pic was posted it was obvious he was holding something that had a strap/string attached. What is it?
And if all of those possibilities were found to be true .. then what? What are you all implying? I keep seeing all these posts going in circles about this card but not seeing how it relates to the abduction of NG.We don’t actually know when it was placed there. We only know the sheriff said the neighbors called APS the same day that NG was reported missing by the family and that it was there when BE did his video walk up to the front door which I believe was on the 3rd.
Having said that, if the sheriff is correct about when the call was placed, it is possible that APS arrived while LE was there and got permission from LE to put the card there or even asked a LE officer to place it there for them. It is also possible that APS put it there after LE released the house to the family but before BE did his vid. And it is also possible that APS arrived before the family did when they were called about NG missing the remote church service and called 911.
Yes. After every statement to the media. It is a complete pissing contest.
Brief paraphrase of the last few weeks:
FBI: We're checking to see if she's in Mexico.
Sheriff: No reason to believe she's in Mexico.
Sheriff: The family has been cleared!
FBI: No comment.
FBI: We're checking gun shops to see find recent purchases.
Sheriff: No they're not.
FBI: The sheriff isn't sharing evidence with us.
Sheriff: Am so.
Feel free to add to the list.
What this means to me is the woman from APS had no idea about NG, which is what I, having stayed in Tucson, stated. The news is out now, but prior to this I don't think most people in Tucson had any idea of NG or the connection to SG. NG lived in an elite section of the city where most don't go or interact. And it's totally bizarre that the woman from Adult Protective Services was allowed to walk up to the house - possibly over the drops of blood - and leave her card on the door.
