I think one or more of the ransom notes referred to a specific accessory being in an unusual place and a specific item that was smashed. I believe we later heard that the accessory that was in an unusual place was her apple watch, charging at the foot of her bed. The item that was smashed was the outdoor floodlights -- I think they were around the side or in the back of the house.

The idea was that only the kidnapper/assailant would know about those things, but I think some here speculated that there could've been a leak from the investigation or the family about both items.

I remember that I wondered whether people who worked in the house might know where NG habitually charged her watch and whether the floodlights might have been damaged before the night of the kidnapping.

Wow, that's a keen observation. I never thought of it before, but the bulk of my extended family are avid golfers, and you're right, a lot of men bend to pick up balls/tees with one leg outstretched and leaning from one side. Most don't go into a full squat, especially if they're middle aged and have bad knees. You may be on to something.

He did go into detail about the floodlight over the back yard being described in the original ransom note as "destroyed". He was speaking with Chris Cuomo on Newsnation.

It was me who posted the Newsmax piece reporting the location of the white Apple Watch but the post was deleted, because Newsman isn't approved. I notice that no MSM reports it, because (this is a guess) the police wanted it held back.

I know how you feel. I don't watch the Today Show, so I hardly knew who SG is. But I find myself worried about her, especially her kids, because she's been away from them for so long. It is discouraging! But it is a very complex case, and the DNA and other technologies are taking time to examine. They absolutely will solve this case.

What are your thoughts on the RR or LD? You can't deny he checks some boxes at first glance. I can't think of a reason they would have the car this long that doesn't indicate knowledge or guilt.

I think the messages that were sent as actual emails were the ones claiming to be from someone who knows information on the crime and perps, whereas the ones claiming to be from the kidnapper have been web messages, sent via the “Send us a message”/“Leave us a comment” form on the TMZ and KOLD websites.

The website is the same. It, too, talks about email – there's a link labelled 'email or call' – but all those labels takes you to web forms. That web form, on completion, is sent to TMZ staff by email. I don't think there's any email involved here, either from the person claiming to be an abductor, or the person claiming to know the abductors.

Have a look at the TMZ website – there's a contact link, a tip line link, a 'call or email' link all of them go to web forms. I didn't find an email address. Not to say that there wouldn't be a guessable one (like info@ or tips@) but they're not publishing it officially.

Do you think that light would still be functional? Seem like the preps would have to cut the wires to totally disable it. Maybe they damaged the motion sensor. I'm guessing the lights were already damaged, which could be known to multiple people. MOO.

Yes, a big star with top ratings. I think she will return, to even higher ratings because of sympathy over the story of her Mother, NG’s disappearance.

SG is lovely, strong woman, who is and will be respected, throughout the case, and when the case is solved.

Every single media source that I've seen who has also seen the original ransom note has spoken of two things that the writer mentioned to show knowledge of the crime: the location of the Apple Watch and the severe damage to the rear floodlight. No one I've seen or read has mentioned any other attempts made by the writer to prove that he was the abductor. The former FBI agents who've seen the notes and discussed them don't add anything to the list. Maureen O'Connell discusses the notes in an interview on Fox, and says that the second ransom note began with 'Dear Savannah'. She has a podcast that I haven't listened to but which may provide more detail.

MOO too - there’s been a lot of negativity in media and here about him releasing info from the note but I always thought he was being very careful and that he’d discussed with FBI about what he could say. I’m not typically a fan of TMZ or HL but do think he’s getting more flack about this than he deserves. It’s possible that he said it later after someone else disclosed it and i just haven’t seen it but I think he’s getting more flack about this than he deserves.

IMO, like him or not or his tactics or not, he's created TMZ to be on the top news, celebrity or not. And that's why people keep watching IMO

Yep, I gave up on my sanity about a week ago.. Abandoned the deep dive into this case.. and now just listening ocaasionally and listeing to nation news hoping to hear a break in the case.

Can you image the strain on LE management that are actually living this every day and doing this investigation 24/7?

I don't think we even know that it's his car. We just know that he was driving it from what reports suggest. From the partially obstructed temporary tag that was shown in the media at the time of seizure, we can also deduce that it was probably recently purchased from an area dealer that appears to have still had it listed for sale at that time (sale would've been that recent, like only days prior). We won't really know what the RR has to do with anything until the warrants are unsealed. LE could've been looking at someone at the dealership who they think could have driven that car during the kidnapping, and so they seized it before it became too contaminated, etc.

Pictures I've seen of LD online seem to fit the general build, and his eyes are fairly unique and wide-ish like the person's in the mask. But to me it looks like the eyes are distorted a bit in a zoomed photo of the person in the mask, and from what looks to be a second inner latex (or "real") mask. So I don't really know that we can accurately gauge any facial features under the mask(s).

I know the rules and can only use initials, is there a news source I can go to that will say the information? I don't want to get in a time out again or get anyone in any trouble. It is just so hard to read posts and see initials and not know who we are talking about. If there isn't that is fine I will hopefully figure it out somehow. I really hope fbi and others know more than they are putting it because it dragging on this long wouldn't they have already nabbed the person if they had a clue? I guess what I am asking is if they ever know a person is guilty but let them run loose for awhile to trip up and give them more evidence, if so that is risky isn't it? (too much Charlie's Angel's as a child lol)

Wish I could, but I fear she is long gone. I hate thinking that way but the odds seem slim that this poor woman is alive and well.
