CBS News Texas interview with PI Jay Armes III
(discussion of FBI techniques for measuring and mapping suspect's face)

tucson.com FBI images in Nancy Guthrie case suggest burglary gone wrong, crime experts say
(comment on flashlight use by crime scene analyst Weaver Barkman)

I can't find the exact source for the amateurish description of using a flashlight with a low, but not low enough, high, but not high enough amount of lumens... but the video link has a pretty good description of how computer technology can map facial features.. starts around 6:52. And the tucson.com article points out that even using a flashlight confuses our ability to determine a motive..

Nothing to indicate she hasn't been either but I fear she is out in the desert and won't ever be found. This brings me the waterworks. They don't know where she is so how can they say they know where she probably isn't. What if she is there and people stop looking because they said this.
The Mexican government cannot go looking for NG unless it is with the say-so of the FBI; unless they have verifiable information regarding the possibility that she is there, and the FBI asks for their cooperation, it might fall outside their jurisdiction.

I don't think, and this is just my personal opinion, that there is any ill intent in issuing this statement. It is possibly as a response to pressure from outside civilian sources asking for intervention.

SNIFFER ALERT!
Sniffer is currently out and really focusing on this one area at the moment. Flying as slow as 27 kts (the slowest i've seen it all week). They also flew straight from the airport to this area. Earlier in the week it was flying random circles in various areas. Apparently this is a landfill. There is something very deliberate in this effort. IMO

Many of us are at the stage where the information is getting muddled. I could swear that early MSM reports mentioned a wide-open back door, but that detail seems to have disappeared now.

The open back door was from AB's source. Her source is also the source for the nest cameras allegedly being smashed and blood being found in the home not just outside of it.

Nancy Guthrie disappearance: Trump rips tech disclosures
President Donald Trump slammed investigators for disclosing the high-tech used in the ongoing search for Nancy Guthrie.

For goodness sakes I've had Wunderfind on my iPhone for probably 5 years, anyone who has ever lost a blue tooth connectable device surely knows this technology exists. Granted it's not amazing but it's definitely not top secret technology. And to be fair, I did find my lost ear bud, so the technology does work.

IMO there are multiple viable theories of what possibly happened to Nancy and who the responsible party could be for her disappearance which have been posited by many astute members and discussed. Full disclosure, I’m woefully behind many pages and apologies if the following theory has already been posited. I tried conducting a search on the thread but couldn’t find what I was looking for.

Anyhoo, lately I’ve been wondering if perhaps the perp responsible for Nancy’s disappearance is a former employee of the Today Show that was fired and blamed/perceived Savannah was responsible. I’m not thinking any of her past co-anchors rather, a lower level staffer that worked behind the scenes i.e., cameraman, set designer, lighting staff, writer, editor, stylist (wardrobe, hair, makeup), casting, food planner/runner, and/or etc.

I understand SG’s worked for NBC Today Show for 14 years. That’s a good many years during which some behind the scenes employees might have been let go/fired. I’m not talking about someone SG fired (not sure she’d even have the authority to fire backstage employees, I would think that’s a studio executive’s job/decision) but perhaps a mentally unbalanced backstage staffer who maybe perceived it was SG’s fault they got let go, and possibly has been stewing/holding a grudge for several years over it.
In this scenario, Savannah’s not aware the person blamed her for losing their job. Perhaps they decided it was too risky to try to harm SG, her children or husband due to having security around them, so decided to get revenge by harming a much more isolated, vulnerable relative of SG, her beloved Mother. They’d likely be aware SG and her Mother were very close and that taking her Mother away from her would cause SG a lot of pain and torture not knowing what happened to or where her Mother is. :(

Perhaps an outlier theory but imo a possibility as we know so very little.
IMO anything’s possible and nothing would surprise me in this crazy, complex case. *sigh*

#FindNancy 🤞🙏 🤞

The Range Rover the FBI confiscated last Friday and is still processing, as I mentioned above.
I’d add even though it’s not been mentioned by LE much.

1. AG’s vehicle
2. NG’s vehicle
3. Both swat raid evidence
4. Mounds of digital evidence- we don’t even know if there was an Alexa in the house. Nobody has asked that as far as I know.
So Law Enforcement are looking at the following :

1) Neighbours security camera (requested)
2) Ransom notes (TMZ)
3) DNA evidence (house mixed DNA - labs)
4) Walmart Purchases (requested)
5) NG security camera footage (analyzing)
6) Door to door / business enquires (following up leads)
7) Incident Call Centre (40,000 plus leads)

Have I missed anything?

Interesting, in conjunction with others here suggesting that the way that the perp bends to pick up the lantana is somewhat of a way that golfers pick up the golf ball. The $199 golf shoes don't seem to align with the "Walmart outfit" though. JMO
Also the way I bend to pick up something if my pants are tight and I don’t want to split them…..

''A broken floodlight once attached to a rear wall of Nancy Guthrie's Arizona home has been removed from the property as federal agents intensify their hunt for the missing 84-year-old amid revelations that a ransom note specifically referenced the fixture.

Drone footage captured Saturday showed the damaged floodlight that had previously hung from exposed wiring at the rear of Guthrie's Tucson residence was no longer there. ''

That door does not have a deadbolt. I just noticed that. Maybe an easy entrance.

Nice work!
FWIW and maybe you already did this, but when you lighten up the tread on the “black” part of the sole, (shown here) on the golf shoe you found, IMO, the little square type shapes look similar to the blood stain prints that you and Tortoise pointed out in posted pics.
Golf shoe tread
Nice job! That’s why I threw the sole pic in the video, but hadn’t tried to actually match it to the blood pattern. I’d love to see someone try to match it up.

Oh I mean I was more worried about the public in Mexico stopping looking for her is all. I think if this is ever solved it is going to be a private citizen or a group like here doing some digging.

After all this time, she may be in a landfill. Pressure may have become too much for the perps. Probably quite early on in the investigation.

I threw together a quick and dirty YT short on a possible shoe match: Ecco Golf LT1.

I'm very aware that IR light can mess with colors (e.g., the shoe could be all black), but this particular model seems to align in more ways that one.

Could be interesting if the guy was wearing golf shoes. Obvously, I'm not a golfer (obligatory Lebowski), so I have no idea of why one would wear a spikeless golf shoe while not golfing. Do you think this could be the shoe?

I’m curious how you came to look at golf shoes? I’m wondering if you were attempting to make it fit a certain person or just happened upon them?

How can they expect to see anything in that massive place from a helicopter? This is just so out of nowhere. Maybe they really have absolutely nothing? I hope this isn't the case.

They don’t expect to see, they are using the signal sniffer for the pacemaker. IMHO
