IMO in the earlier pic the neckline on the jacket seems to sit lower than in the images we have of the perp smashing the cam.The fit of the jacket looks different, not as form fitting, hangs differently at the lower hemline and narrower in the hips. Also, black marks on shoes not visible in the other image but could be lighting.

Is it possible he didn't see the camera? We can see from the background it's nearly pitch black, no moon illumination and no street lights. We only see it looking bright due to the "night vision" through the camera footage. From this single still frame he doesn't have any external light source (flashlight). Hard to tell exactly what he did imo.

The camera has indicator lights on it. In a pitch black situation it should be even easier to see something lit up on the porch.

I think it's "night vision" from Camera. The one with darker background is more pixelated because it's harder for camera to see the details with no light. I also think the one without the backpack- outside was probably pitch black from the perps perspective.

My ring has only 2 tiny red pin lights at night. It would be easy to not see them from a distance, unless I'm close enough to reach the door bell. JMO

No. Every trip served a purpose. She was targeted. IMO He peeped her house prior to this and I would be willing to bet this person was IN her house recently ( either known or unknown) to NG prior to her disappearance. There’s too many similarities to something I’ve personally experienced. It’s horrifying. I hate it. Prayers for Nancy and family.

Those that did work at her house have been interviewed and DNA tested, and no one knows if or when anyone may have cased the house ahead of the crime.

On the non-backpack photo, he might have on a neck gaiter or balaclava. I live in a desert environment, and they are common for sun protection with both outdoor enthusiasts as well as outdoor workers. This might account for the different neckline.

Yes, Nest cameras have IR tech for night vision (Ring cams do as well). Unfortunately, the porch light was not on or else everything would be in clear color.

I leave my porch lights on with my Ring cameras at night so they can see clearly without the IR. It makes a significant difference.
