I think the greatest hope with this reward money now would be that some accomplice who only played a smaller role is tired of the whole thing and will want to offer LE information about the main person/people in exchange for money and immunity.

If they can lead LE to Nancy's whereabouts plus to the major player/s and wrap the case up once and for all I think it would be worth it to give them immunity and reward money.

Assuming the perp is not in NG's circle, there was a first time they were ever on NG's property, close enough to touch her house. Is it known if LE looked at camera recordings prior to January? If NG was being stalked, I can see the perp showing up on NYE, Christmas, or even Thanksgiving, figuring she'd be out with friends or family and not hosting any gatherings. That would let him check the house security features. Even showing up in broad daylight is a possible strategy, because they could claim to have a plausible excuse to anyone else who found them on the property (such as sorry, wrong house, or did you call for a handyman, or I have a delivery for X--oh, they put the wrong address).

That first time is not likely to be very long before the first images we've seen (I'm guessing three months max). Maybe LE has gone back that far and even knows who they want, but need to connect them to the disguised images).

Tried to understand the sheriff's views because he is LE, but IMO the #1 priority should have been searches for NG. The desert area is ridiculous, but there should have been organized attempts, something to show the focus was NG.
Yeah. We’re getting mixed messaging. People are saying they haven’t been interested in extensive desert searches because “they must know something pointing away from that.” But it honestly doesn’t seem like they do now, if they’ve given Savannah the go-ahead to offer her personal reward in the hopes of more tips.

I think it’s beyond time to organize searches in some of the nearby desert and I hope volunteers can do so safely and carefully.

I know LE has searched the surrounding neighborhoods for gloves and other personal effects, but I think searches that focus on recovery and potential places she could’ve been dumped in the broader desert or foothills are needed too.

That was the vehicle parked at his residence with considerable front end damage covered by a tarp.
Yes, looking like a blue Dodge Charger in the Entin report that showed it in the driveway when Entin walked up and rang the doorbell of the house. The Charger was later towed and Michael Ruiz (Fox) reported that it was towed by State Farm, an insurance company, following a crash the previous week. Link to X post here.

That wasn’t the car searched and seized by LE. They seized a Range Rover Sport. I’m guessing (speculation) that LE has ruled out any link between the NG and the blue Charger crash.

Ok. I am just going to say it. Why does he wear his gun like it's his male appendage in a sack? That's just not any kind of gun carrying mode I have ever seen. What's he hiding or flaunting? JMO

This is all standard DNA stuff. A more likely possibility I think is that the DNA gives you a random probability match that isn't incredibly strong. In the Kohberger case it was something like 5 octillion to one, which is overwhelming. With a weaker sample it could be something like 1 in several thousand or something.

That's where corroborating evidence would be much more important.
For the STR match required for CODIS, you can search all the combinations and permutations from a mixed sample that has allele dropout and you might still get a good name.

For the SNP search for genetic geneology a low quality mixed sample has several million combinations with significant dropout. Almost impossible.

Just my casual opinion...

Thinking about SG’s video directing tips to only the FBI.

For jurisdiction purposes, if ransom notes have been determined to be legit and connected to NG - does ransom for kidnapping fall under the feds? Or still PCSD?
The ransom notes were sent via encrypted email through the media portals, so internet was used. So IMO, ransom notes are FED jurisdiction.

This also suggests that this guy isn't the bumbling dolt that many folks read into that porch video. To do what he did, and to spend that much time in and around the home that night and other nights (evidently), and to not leave enough of his own DNA to even sample, suggests an expert skillset in depravity.

JMO.
Honestly the way he was dressed full face mask, gloves, pants, coat. It would not surprise me if there was no DNA left from the actual perp or a minimal mixed sample.

Or it could very well be a possibility that the sample is unrelated to the crime. We have seen that in other cases where there ends up being a reasonable explanation why a persons DNA was there etc.

There's not always the Perps DNA left at crime scenes and that doesn't always indicate it was the work of some criminal mastermind.

One earlier report, it was said NG got the cameras to look at wildlife. Safe area.
So probably not concerned about intruders at all!

JMO
I’m sure most of us know that there is no such thing as a safe area anymore.

I know when I bought my house, the former owners had lived there for seven years and never once locked their doors. So they had to have a locksmith come out to make keys for me, because they had misplaced the keys seven years before when they bought it.

They said it was such a safe area they knew there was no crime there so they never even considered locking their doors.

I find it hard to believe no one else knows where Nancy Guthrie is or who took her. Someone out there knows something. Either someone who saw something suspicious and has a hunch or noticed someone acting differently immediately after. Or if she is still alive, I doubt she's being held in a log cabin in the middle of the woods. If she's alive, it's not easy to care for an elderly woman by yourself for almost a month.

Also if this individual came by the home previously and left when they noticed the camera, it suggests:

-They didn't have intimate knowledge of this home before and didn't know that the subscription for the camera wasn't active.
-The home wasn't random, it was specifically targeted.
-I think most people felt this way from day one, but to me lessens the chances it was a robbery gone wrong. If you're scared of a camera, you'd just move on to the next home to target. He came back to that specific house for a reason.

I remember reading his vehicle was towed because of it being totaled. Do you have a link to show law enforcement has it?
“Based on reports as of February 21-24, 2026, the gray Range Rover seized by the FBI in connection with the Nancy Guthrie disappearance investigation is believed to still be impounded as evidence.”

Cece Moore explained that at this stage the DNA can't be processed at Quantico. They do not deal with Snip profiles needed to do genetic genealogy. That is ALWAYS sent away to a private company. Therefore, she believes that sending it to a reputable private lab to begin with probably saved the investigation time since Florida lab could do all three types of analysis on the DNA. Only thing FBI is capable of that others are not- is directly entering their results into CODIS. There was no match in CODIS anyways so in hindsight sending it to Quantico probably wouldn't have done anything but slow down the process.

IMO
I'm sorry i like Cece Moore alot but if she said that she might be mistaken.
As far as i read the FBI lab does definitely possess the ability to work with SNP.
It would be very strange if they didn't, if you think about it.
SNP is usually used where it contains very small parts of a DNA sample as i understand.
Quantico is one of the most highly regarded labs in the world, isn't it?
Then why wouldn't they have this ability?
JMO

Just googled if FBI Quantico uses SNP,
I got a firm "yes" with this link as one of many results. I hope it helps.

There were requests that the neighbourhood checked their cam footage of 11th of januari so maybe this is the data they have of one of the pictures which they are not willing to share with the public? BUT WHY? IT DOESN"T MAKE SENSE.
It's quite clear that the no backpack pic is from a different time because of the dark sky. Maybe someone leaked info to the media but officials deny so that's where the confusion comes from?

I just think a medical professional would have been more aware of how fragile an 84 year old woman is, even such as skin bruising and scratches from such thin skin. Would have been sure NG had her meds if she left alive. IMO
He could be the guy that cleans the operating rooms..for all we know. If he is the son of doctors as some here have speculated, he knows about double gloving. Mu guess is he is loosely or perhaps more directly involved with infection control, understands DNA and bacterial transfer and is not necessarily a direct care giver although he might be. JMO

To consider the sick and depraved motive a bit more, if motive does turn out to be a sexual assault of an 84 year old woman then it would be less about sex and more about rage and control. The age of the victim would likely be symbolic in that instance, and represent a deep grievance with a (now) elderly, controlling mother or other dominant female figure who is probably still alive and probably still intimately exercising that dominance and control. A recent stressor like a death or arrest could trigger the spiral.

LD's age and current living situation could be indicative of this, and at a minimum would probably agree with profiles early on. The other guy lived with a strong matriarch-like figure too, so perhaps that is/was the theory they are/were operating under.
