I noticed that, too, but not all of them were covering their mouths.

I only noticed it in front of the garage before they all went in and the door closed. IMO

So the $1mm reward is very fresh. Let's say someone started singing. Perhaps LE is at the house trying to validate what was shared. Wouldn't it be a bit quick for a "major update" to be shared today?

I need to catch up, but these people dressed in suites don’t look like detectives. I’m not trying to stereotype or be disrespectful, but thoughts?
They look like lawyers to me (I am one so no stereotyping or disrespect meant, but those are lawyer suits 😂).

FBI definitely wear suits in my experience, or at least a shirt with a jacket. But not a skirt and heels.

Agree. Family wasn't there unless they were in the white vehicle that pulled into garage. And, since the white vehicle arrived the same time as the other vehicles, I'm inclined to think they were also investigators. Possibly some were DA's office.

I just don't think that the family would leave the gated community they were reported to be staying in and risk being mobbed and/or followed by the media. MOO.

That’s what I was thinking. I just don’t see why having lawyers there would be important for where the investigation is right now. Unless, there is much more going on than we know.

It would either be prosecutors or her personal family attorneys dealing with trust, estate, and will issues, things like that.

It’s possible to a) use ChatGPT without an account and b) use a burner account for chatGPT and c) use a VPN.

(I’m not married to the ChatGPT idea - I’m just trying to think of what the perpetrator may have been done.)

All jmo
True, there are many ways to bypass the tracing but i only went off the idea about someone generally using Chatgpt for writing something without further thinking about all the data saving, tracing, etc.
With everything else digital, it's always possible to make yourself invisible. As long as you have the proper skillsets ofcourse.

Also I should add a trust and estate attorney would deal with documents like powers if attorney, so maybe family realized they need to get her documents to deal with her bank accounts, mortgage, etc.

Could have been high profile defense attorneys hired by someone who has been arrested and released.

I think there's more going on. Maybe a deal is being hashed out behind closed doors between the D.A.'s office and an informant and they're going to the scene to confirm details?

This case reminds me so much of the Idaho murders. No investigator would’ve first guessed that a random intruder would kill 4 innocent people, he didn’t know, in a matter of minutes. It defies the typical odds. I think that’s where this case is. It doesn’t make sense, because the chances of this happening are so, so statistically low with her age and lack of viable ransom. Moo

They reliable or are they just assuming something will happen based on LE activity at the house today?
Regarding Midwest P, They announced pretty much the same thing yesterday. My guess would be probably not.
We need to get back to basics thinking here. List 5 reasons someone would take a body with them?
1. I'll start embarrassment over sexual fantasy, evidence being found.
power or control
Hide evidence
Stage the body to appear like a random accident unconnected to them
Trophy
Sexual perversion

Also other things but just…no. Not writing it out or speaking it into existence. Prayers for Nancy and family

It’s sad to me that there are so many negative assumptions and infantilizing of older humans
As much as there are vital elderly people, as many or more are there fragile ones.
People often speak of experience in their own surroundings so don't immediately put them away as judgemental, infantilizing or accusing of ageism.
Fact is that Nancy was known to have difficulty walking, wore a hearing aid (one or two, idk), had a pacemaker, not sure of other health issues, but also was still quite sharp in her mind.
Based on that one can say she was actually fragile, health wise.
If this was my mother i would worry more about something happening to her like falling or something then if she was completely healthy and still jogging around.

News Nation is calling those at NG's home today a "group of investigators."

With all the unmarked suvs it looks like high ranking feds. I don’t think this has to do with PCSO, which I’m totally ok with!

I hope this is ok to ask. Is the black vehicle an LE SUV or possibly a Hearse?

ADMIN NOTE: We need a link to source for the pics or this post and responses will have to be removed and we don't want to do that.
IMO it looks similar to my car which is a Chevrolet Suburban which is what is used for a hearse. This vehicle is a Chevrolet Tahoe which you can see on the back in the above photo. It is shorter unlike the Suburban which is longer.
All MOO

I had a weird idea when typing up another post trying to get to "my theory".

I vaguely remember something being mentioned about NG only recently joining that online church group. Did she recently stop attending physical church? Maybe some deranged person she met there thought she abandoned them or something like that?
Yes, there was alot of discussion about the church people, because, they were on, then off the timeline.
Also, the fact that NG watched church from a friend’s house, this wasn’t stated at first.

Maybe protecting church friends from scrutiny. Oh they wouldn’t hurt a fly…anyway this created questions at first.

On this forum, there were questions about her church friend’s children and grandchildren, as they maybe met NG. Found out she has a famous daughter ( maybe kidnap), Or NG saw the kids downtown Stealing, or doing drugs, could have started up a whole plan.

Maybe some people of faith can’t fathom their relatives doing a crime.
It’s just another connection to more people to look at.

Well-thought out plan and preparation, but never achieved their goal, why?
Greed.
Obviously not a perfect plan either - though well-thought out and sophisticated in some ways. Sophisticated enough to have stumped law enforcement, FBI, and any private detectives the family has hired so far.

Six million dollars was too much to ask for unless someone is a billionaire (in which case they have better security for their immediate family members so it’s a moot point)
Although Savannah had six million dollars to throw at this it’s still too much to ask for without a way to contact the kidnappers, negotiate or have true proof of life.

Hypothetically, if Savannah had decided to throw six million dollars into the crypto fund and Nancy was then returned alive in a timely manner, this would have opened Pandora’s box for every crook out there to start kidnapping elderly victims.

Obviously the local police and FBI advised Savannah against paying the ransom - as they should.
