They may just be holding it until test results come back. It’s not like the family is going to be clamoring to have it back.

I wonder how that works, since now AG will need another car to use until the end of the trial, and who knows how long that will be. I'm sure she'd rather get a new car if it's needed for evidence. Does insurance cover that? Cars aren't too cheap these days. JMO.

Earlier when I saw the video I thought the one in the baseball hat and jeans was Nancy's son. I had to do a double take. The family wasn't there talking to people today at all?

SG is in town and likely has a rental or a car service so AG probably doesn't need a personal car at the moment anyway. Besides, I doubt she'd just pop around town shopping due to risks.

would not surprise me if those are not agents from the Phoenix FBI .. the moved the location to Phoenix. Justs a thought

Why would they keep it this long? Is it because it was the last vehicle that she rode in (that we know of)?
You would think that they would have thoroughly processed it by now.
That is concerning if I am being honest.
Did they actually tow away and seize AG car tho ? I know AB said her source told her that but I honestly don’t know if LE actually has AG car. I could be totally wrong. I know Nanos did say they “processed” it. 🤷‍♀️ Moo just asking

An obvious question is: how can the family be cleared if "the vehicle is still part of the investigation"?

Jmo

After thinking about it for a minute I opined that it could be kept for future prosecution of a suspect (not family per 'se) so the person(s) charged could have access to test it since it is claimed that that is the last car Nancy was in. We all know the first person the defense attorney will go after. Unfortunately.

I wonder if LE is waiting on GPS data from AG's car and that's why they're holding on to it? Even if AG and TC were willing to show them the car's movements via their phone app, I imagine investigators would still want records from the service provider to confirm nothing was deleted.

Otherwise I don't understand what testing would take so long? Nancy's DNA and fingerprints showing up in the car is to be expected. A luminol test would've already been conducted. What else is there? JMO.

I mean if they think this is related to someone who was familiar with her as a worker (e.g. roof, handyman, landscaping, pool) I would think for regular maintenance such as landscaping AG/NG may use the same people which could mean they were in the car, in both the houses etc. and could also be why they keep going back/forth, esp. if the looped someone else in. all speculative of course.

Time for a short evening break. The thread will be closed for approximately 15 minutes and will reopen at 8:50 PM Eastern.
Before we reopen, a gentle — loving — slightly desperate reminder:

*If you post a photo, you must include the direct link to the source.
*If you post a statement of fact, you must include a link to the source.
*Random YouTube channels, Twitter/X accounts, TikToks, and unverified social media accounts are not approved sources.

These rules are not optional. They are what keep Websleuths credible and respected by media and law enforcement.

Please help me. I am this close to picking a quiet corner of my house, sitting down, and gently rocking back and forth, and saying over and over, “You must have a link… you must have a link..." for the rest of my life.

Please...save me...Include links and proper sources.
Thank you.
Reopening at 8:50 PM Eastern
P.S. We are very close to 40 thousand posts on this thread.

Today is the first day I haven’t been able to keep up, so I offer the usual apologies if I’m duplicating ideas.

Someone shared this article earlier—thank you—and hopefully it’s coming through on a gift (free) link below. The mention of DE’s eyes reminded me to ask a question here. When one orders a new pair of eyeglasses, they measure pupil distance. The eyes of masked lanatana man are indeed distinctive, and I’d argue far apart as well. How strange is the idea to try to get a pupil distance measurement from the video and use it when questioning suspects? Have I had too much or too little coffee? Interested in your thoughts.

Let's say they are real close to arresting a suspect (not family). Would they maybe keep that car for the investigation so a defense attorney/appointed defense attorney could also test that car in the future? Since it is claimed that that is the last car that she was in.
Lol. I’ve been reading this all along as “Nancy’s card.”

From what I can gather, they might. That car's onboard gps system for instance, might help corroborate the timeline that night, so they may keep it to preserve chain of custody.

Wouldn't the physician who administered her pacemaker be able to monitor it still? My understanding is they have a signal until the physician turns it off, even at or following death.

If that is true, and the physician is still monitoring an active signal, and she is somewhere relatively local, then finding her is reasonable likelihood provided they keep combing the area with the signal sweepers. That is, of course, unless this perp is a pathological ghoul and removed it.

JMO.
If allowed a bluetooth connection, it should be able to report. I don't know if anyone could figure out where she is from that. Personally, I think the pain of "removing" her pacemaker might be fatal and I hope it was never considered. MOO

One thing I wish I could do right now, and I know it would have been a long shot but I would have liked to go through yearbooks for the Tucson area high schools for the past 15 or so years. See if anybody has eyes similar to this perp.

I checked online and there’s 15 high schools in that area. That would have been 225 yearbooks. Maybe break it up to 10 yearbooks a day. But be that as it may, yearbook availability is pretty sporadic and less available for recent years.

Topics I sometimes ponder about the case as the news coverage seems to be undergoing a slight downward trend.

*Who had a key to the back door?
*And either used it as a participating accomplice?
*Or gave his key to a third person who was a 3rd accomplice?
*Or was the backdoor breached due to a forced entry?

Why so little information from inside NG's home indicating the possible circumstances causing her bleeding?

Sure you could do all that but they could have just come to this country this year or last year from who knows where. I can't believe the photo has been all over the place and not one person is like "omg that is __________" Nobody recognizes those eyes?

Is it just me or is this odd wording? "County Attorney Conover trusts her veteran prosecutors to execute the work and lead on the ground, allowing them to focus on substance rather than inserting herself into the scene for optics.”

BBM. JMO.
Yeah I agree sounds defensive. People just wanted to know what the reason for the visit was. Is this a jab at the Sheriff??
