Let's say they are real close to arresting a suspect (not family). Would they maybe keep that car for the investigation so a defense attorney/appointed defense attorney could also test that car in the future? Since it is claimed that that is the last car that she was in.

SG is in town and likely has a rental or a car service so AG probably doesn't need a personal car at the moment anyway. Besides, I doubt she'd just pop around town shopping due to risks.

After thinking about it for a minute I opined that it could be kept for future prosecution of a suspect (not family per 'se) so the person(s) charged could have access to test it since it is claimed that that is the last car Nancy was in. We all know the first person the defense attorney will go after. Unfortunately.

I wonder if LE is waiting on GPS data from AG's car and that's why they're holding on to it? Even if AG and TC were willing to show them the car's movements via their phone app, I imagine investigators would still want records from the service provider to confirm nothing was deleted.

Otherwise I don't understand what testing would take so long? Nancy's DNA and fingerprints showing up in the car is to be expected. A luminol test would've already been conducted. What else is there? JMO.

When one orders a new pair of eyeglasses, they measure pupil distance. The eyes of masked lanatana man are indeed distinctive, and I’d argue far apart as well. How strange is the idea to try to get a pupil distance measurement from the video and use it when questioning suspects? Have I had too much or too little coffee? Interested in your thoughts.

From what I can gather, they might. That car's onboard gps system for instance, might help corroborate the timeline that night, so they may keep it to preserve chain of custody.

Wouldn't the physician who administered her pacemaker be able to monitor it still? My understanding is they have a signal until the physician turns it off, even at or following death.

If that is true, and the physician is still monitoring an active signal, and she is somewhere relatively local, then finding her is reasonable likelihood provided they keep combing the area with the signal sweepers. That is, of course, unless this perp is a pathological ghoul and removed it.

If allowed a bluetooth connection, it should be able to report. I don't know if anyone could figure out where she is from that. Personally, I think the pain of "removing" her pacemaker might be fatal and I hope it was never considered. MOO

I checked online and there’s 15 high schools in that area. That would have been 225 yearbooks. Maybe break it up to 10 yearbooks a day. But be that as it may, yearbook availability is pretty sporadic and less available for recent years.
