I take it as a jab at federal officials who lack law enforcement experience but use active crime scenes as photo ops. I don't know anything about this county attorney, but the statement tells me she priorities the integrity of the investigation over public relations.Yeah I agree sounds defensive. People just wanted to know what the reason for the visit was. Is this a jab at the Sheriff??
When the sheriff answered questions at the press conferences, he was clear he manages investigations, he doesn't work the crime scene. He hasn't done photo ops at the scene of the crime, the homes or vehicles of relatives or targets of search warrants. IMO that rules out the statement being a jab at the sheriff in any way.
