As someone else here already posted, the camera taking the video is likely infrared, so - just as with the video of the perpetrator on NG’s doorstep - colors appear different than they actually are.

True, but silver looks light and bright on a B/W night vision Nest camera. As does white. Light colors (blues/greens/etc) would appear light too, but duller.

I sadly think she has passed too. It doesn’t make sense to keep her alive, for nearly a month. Isn’t that more risk to the criminal?

Also they would have to feed her, clothe her and give her meds. I bet she was killed fairly soon. Maybe even during when these supposed ransoms were in play and that’s why no proof of life.

I feel so bad for SV. They reacted fast, she has the $ means and media reach unlike many missing fam members and yet it’s still not enough. Hopefully her body if she is not alive will be recovered soon or they get more clues to who and why. Not knowing has to be so terrifying.

The new surveillance video is interesting. Will breathe some life back into this case IMO. Could be coincidental but there's enough there for LE to look more into.
The best thing to have come out of it so far is the revelation that up to 10,000 hours of footage has been collected. That would take one person almost 3.5 years to watch at 1x, working eight hours a day.

I know there’ll be many people working long hours on this, with AI use, etc. but it’s a tough task. If the perp is someone who knows Tucson (perhaps grew up there*) but lives in another town or another state, and there are no license plates recorded, even tougher. (I’m reminded of the Liz Barraza case – distinctive vehicle, not much ambiguity about make and specific model, multiple clips, multiple cameras, poor light, no answers.)

* Related: I don’t assume the perp was young. He could be, but it’s not a given.

Wow. IMO atleast they can now eliminate some of that and look specifically for any other footage of the car. Recreate the journey etc.

LE were quick to rule out that footage a while back of the person lifting a bag over a fence. Hopefully if this is an innocent person they come forward to atleast stop LE wasting their time.

I posit that he perhaps did leave a ransom demand on scene but they didn't publicly acknowledge it, and since they didn't take it seriously he forced them to by going to the media. Remember, it was the Sheriff who controlled the narrative the first couple of days. It wasn't until the FBI came onboard that they started taking that angle seriously. Sheriff had tunnel vision if we take AB's 'unimpeachable' inside source at face value.

Interesting.

Watching Entin and he stated that there are rumors SG might be heading back to NY soon. If that is true it would seemingly rule out the 'deranged fan lashing out angle', because it follows that her continued presence would be paramount to any seriously mentally ill fan returning NG (alive or deceased).

IMO.

There is an article in People’s Magazine saying the same

Nancy Grace is on tv now, making a big deal about a random car in Tucson at 2:00 am, and several others. She is cray. Tucson always has stuff going on, there are 24 hour Casinos, night workers. This is hardly Belgrade, MT. Tucson is a 24/7 town.
I so wish that woman would shut up and go away forever. She has done more damage to crime cases in Tucson than anyone on earth. She's one reason Isabela Celis' case was so botched and so many innocent people were hurt. She knows nothing about our city. Desert cities tend to be 24/7 and Tucson is for sure. I commonly get up and go to the convenience store at 3 a.m. just because. We have 24-hour fast food places all over. Why is she still allowed to pull this nonsense on TV?

As a local, what is your opinion on the car they are showing considering the timing and location of the video? Also, if you know the area and don't mind commenting on it, what would be the most likely route from Nancy's to 'the heck out of there' for a kidnapper at 2am?

There was a woman singing in front of her house. She was singing Amor Eterno and Over the Rainbow. Even had a mic and amplifier hooked up. She had a lovely voice and all, but...come on....People looking for their 15 minutes of fame......

Many towns in the US have something going on 24/7, well at least until Covid. Also in warm climates, you don't feel compelled to stay hunkered down all night.

There are still two national chains (breakfast coffee shops) which have sit down dining 24/7.

OK...time for me to go walking. It was 93 today.

Be careful! I understand though, 93 is crazy for this time of year.

They would definitely be using sophisticated AI models, i.e. to identify surveillance videos that contain either 'vehicle's and 'people' etc. Some will be relevant others won't be. So law enforcement stating that they will be going through each one, I'm not sure that's going to happen.

Wow!

In this case, there’d probably a record of the garage door opening and closing, though I’m not sure if we have details on how that’s recorded. (The 9:48 and 9:50 pm times were said by the sheriff in a press conference to be approximate, and he emphasised that a few times.)
Yes, he did, and thats the hole in my theory of Nancys car being used. I suppose there is a minute chance that we havent been given any other details, but I think that if Nancys car was used, more would have been made of it. I'm still considering someone who lives close though.

I've been looking for the pictures or videos of the blood trail down the path. I'm curious as to where it ends. Does anyone have a link/knowledge of this?

The drops continue with less frequency up the walkway and end at the driveway. It's harder to see because the pavers end and it's gravel after that.

He provided proof of something that got their attention enough to thrice coordinate a plead for her return until the deadline passed. We don't know what that was.

BBM I absolutely agree. Reading in People that it is rumored that SG will be returning to work soon is what I predicted the last couple of days . This could actually lure him out. He may become obvious. His grab to be noticed by and total domination of SG has failed. What next? His 4 weeks of terror and publicity has ended. This is when his obsession with SG will be seen by others in his circle. He has no where else to go with his quest to capture SG's attention. If my stalker exists, he will only then start making mistakes. He is smart and mindful and twisted. He is frustrated now. All this plotting and planning and his desires are still not satisfied. IF SG does return to work soon, he will surface again in an unmistakable way. Le might be laying a trap if they suspect this is a stalker. In or near the house? At SG's job? Within her social media posts? He's going to slip up when she returns to work. This isnt over for him. It will just take on a new form and he WILL get caught. JMO

In my area, the home invasions that occur at night are related to armed thieves who have followed and learned the habits of small time business owners who take their day’s receipts home to put into a home safe rather than drop them into the commercial lockboxes at a bank. They want to invade after the receipts are there and also when the business owner is there to open the safe for them.
In their minds, the high cash amount from business owners is worth the high risk?

Does your state have felony murder on the books? Where even an accidental death during a robbery or kidnapping can result in First Degree Murder charges so possibly life in prison and DP? (AZ does.)

So how much cash is worth the risk?

I have not heard that NG had large amounts of cash or expensive valuables.
