I don't think it's a kidnapping. I think it's an abduction and, to me, it has an 'LE' feel to it in that whoever it is knew what NOT to do. They either watch a lot of true crime TV re investigations and what is involved with evidence, etc or they have some first hand knowledge in their background before they went off the deep end and gave in to settling a score. NG may be collateral damage so-to-speak This may not be directed to the Guthries at all but to someone else entirely.
MOO
I've thought about this too. Someone with LE experience. There are good cops and then there are those who tarnish the reputation of LE.

I asked myself early on ..what would a person pick up to handle a doorbell camera during an attempted robbery…would they pick up a rock to smash and try to destroy it or choose some plants to disable it? NG front door is surrounded by rocks, yet they grabbed a plant from a pot. It’s atypical and it stands out. Moo
Yes, this part is really weird... why use plants when there are a bunch of rocks around... not logical, which is why part of me thinks this person is not as sophisticated and logical as people are assuming. If he had to improvise there and that is what he chose, he probably had to improvise in other ways that don't make sense or can ultimately be traced back to him.

How can the AG car still be part of the investigation if the owner (s) of the car are not ? Can someone explain that.
This wasn’t my original idea, I read it somewhere. But IF a tracker was placed on that car by someone else to help perp know when NG was coming back, would that count?

Like everyone here, I have been watching this sad happening. I have been unable to spend much time reading through everything.

What is standing out to me is how similar all of this is to Jon Benet. Obviously not the situation, but the mistakes from the very beginning seem the same. Simple things that should not have happened, I.e., clearing the crime scene before a whole search was conducted. LE seem out of their depth.

Obviously none of my thoughts can help solve this crime, but what I worry about is the outcome, no one arrested, and, even worse, a case that would be impossible to win because of all of this confusion, raids, searches, press conferences, etc. will make the case difficult to be carried out to the conclusion.

Anyway, just my thoughts. I’ve really had them from pretty much the first few days.

Maybe the car technology, not the car owner.

IMO

As I said in a post earlier today....

Action > Words.

What people do is more important (usually) than what they say.

The light fixtures don't cost any more. There are dark sky-compliant light fixtures in all price ranges and all styles. Inexpensive ones are available at Walmart or Lowes. Prices are the same as non-compliant fixtures. Styles run the gamut from basic jelly jar to barnlight to coastal, and so on. You may have dark sky outdoor lighting without realizing it. What makes outdoor lighting "dark sky" is the top of the fixture is solid, preventing light from shining upward into the sky. Other than the Bat Signal, projecting light skyward offers no benefit in security or safety. Dark sky lighting has no drawbacks I'm aware of and lots of benefits to humans and animals.

The little-known bat signal exemption. Actually, Tucson’s awesome bat population is among the benefitted wildlife … with apologies for the tangent. 😉

Well I assume they own more than one car and I haven't heard anything about the second one. Perp wouldn't know which car to tag.

I know but aren’t most children abducted by strangers abused then killed? This seems to be an entirely different kettle of fish
I suspect that is what happened to poor Nancy

An attorney for two people targeted in raids connected to Nancy Guthrie's disappearance is calling out law enforcement for going after his client ... who he says has no involvement in the crime.

Attorney Chris Scileppi represents Luke Daley -- the Arizona man who was the subject of two search warrants issued and served a couple weeks ago in connection to the Guthrie case -- and, he tells TMZ he's absolutely sure his client has no link to Nancy

Daley and his mother were offended about being detained, Scileppi says ... and their homes and vehicles were significantly damaged during the search.

Scileppi calls Nancy's abduction a terrible crime ... and, in investigating it, he says law enforcement is obligated to do so "in a manner that avoids casting aspersions on private citizens who have no connection whatsoever to the case."

Somebody up thread explained that there is a small hole on both the upper and lower edges of the Nest ring cam. Inserting something like a paper clip into the opening releases the ring cam from its frame. Maybe that’s what he was trying to accomplish with a stem of the plant?

Well, that days could be retrieved in a day or two. So why continue to keep it, unless ?

? please elaborate--i am quite doubtful that he and his ilk have anything to do with this
I don’t think “they” want the media digging into all the facts when the ultra elites who were involved have largely gotten away with it. Nothing else makes sense.

Maybe because AG's car was the first and only car at the house after NG was taken, before LE arrived. Possibly comparing tire tracks to some believed to be the abductors found at the scene. MOO

Yea that’s a good point.

Ok, I am stumped then too, must be digital forensics and maybe that takes time? Hopefully using Berla on it.
