Your average good attorney wouldn't want their client -- whose house a SWAT team searched -- being interviewed about this experience. He's technically still a suspect. Unbelievable.

Perhaps the attorney thought that he'd come across as somebody not capable of this crime and the interview would cause people to lose interest in him. Makes no sense to me.

JMO

Attorney just wants to convert public opinion as soon as humanly possible so he can get a good jury pool for that lawsuit he's about to file. It's likely as simple as that. Garnering sympathy goes a long way in negotiations for damages.

Dropping in to just post something related to this angle. I admit what I’m posting, well it’s a bit of a stretch but, you never know.

Giuffre
Guthrie
Spelling is close. Did someone get something mixed up? IMO Giuffre didn't kill herself, she was systematically taken care of.

SG interview of Giuffre

dropping into say I’m not sure of the perps weight other than average build. Imo, LD doesn’t appear to have that much extra weight compared to the perp.. given the slight fish eye kinda angle of the video..( it’s hard to tell) but I do notice a few things that stand out to me. I am NOT implying anything other than this…
All available pictures of LD ONLINE prior to NG disappearance he has a beard and a mustache, sometimes stubble, slightly grown in, sometimes a little more. He’s cleanly shaven in this interview. Maybe trying to appear more clean cut. Maybe not and wanted to alter his appearance a bit.

His haircut in the interview, imo is also fresh and recent, which I understand, he’s trying to appear a bit more “professional” for lack of a better word. It would be harder to tell if he had lighter hair. Dark hair makes it very obvious.

His use of the term “hive mind” is a tad aggravating to me. He’s implying people pointed fingers at him and alerted LE because of how he lived his life in the past and his vicinity to NG,… and maybe they did, …but You don’t get a federal warrant issued on the home you live in and vehicle seized because of past drug arrest at Walmart.

Not once does he ever offer any type of empathy to the family. Just, “if I knew I would say so” …”it’s not me, I don’t see the resemblance”…I want Nancy to come home too but I don’t have anything to do with it” …kind of deal.

Not once does he say, he understands the public’s focus on him because of his past. He doesn’t own up or imply any understanding of the past transgressions that some people are questioning. Just “hive mind”

Also ask yourself what 40+’year old man has his mom at a interview with them…unless there’s some type of disability or neurodivergence or something going on, it’s not normal for her to be present in this particular interview. I know it’s her home that SWAT busted into but still, a 40 yr old man with his mom at an interview “clearing his name” is a huge red flag to me.

Does that make him the perp, idk. But after hearing him talk I don’t personally like his demeanor, ..whatever, that’s on me. Moo

FYI, my son is autistic so if LD is actually neurodivergent or disabled
In some way I would understand his mothers presence a bit better.
He doesn't seem to have the emotional maturity to express empathy or concern for the Guthrie family. Seemed very focused on himself and not very self-aware. I don't necessary think he's the perp, but his lack of personal responsibility and lack of concern about the case was startling. MOO

The LD interview makes no sense. The news about this case is quieting down, everyone is distracted with the war, LE has gone quiet, and the public scrutiny of LD is fading.

IMO, MOO, LD's interview was either really bad advice, or an attempt to get out ahead of things. Why put him back in the spotlight?
Maybe he thinks it will clear his name?

Wonder when HIS turn is in court for his 'activity' aside from this. It's coming up. IMO

--What struck me during the LD interview were his calves. My eyes immediately were drawn there. Perfect match IMO. Not just the size, but the same clothing style that hugs them that the Porch Guy wore. I hope I'm wrong.

--His ears. Or should I say one ear. I know it is partly due to the angle--but during the entire 14+ minute video there is no proof he has another ear. Could not see one. His left ear must be smaller by comparison at least.....

Now go and look back at the porch video.....the porch guy's right ear is prominent but there is a slight second where he lowers his arm and the left side of his head is visible....but you can see just a faint tracing of a left ear inside the mask. Not nearly as prominent as his right ear.

Uncanny how similar they are in the ears......JMO.

"That backpack is exclusive to Walmart when it is bought new, but Nanos said investigators are also considering whether it might have been purchased through a resell website.

"What I'm saying is, there's all kinds of angles," he said.

Nanos also said that DNA is critical to the case and that authorities are "looking at a lot of DNA, but that's still being researched and worked."

A crime he has on file was committed 20 years ago. I would imagine he paid his debt to society. Might be expecting a lot from him to express his condolences when he was thrust onto the public stage and after living a nondescript life, he becomes front and center in a frenzied hunt for the kidnapper of an 84 year old kidnapped mother of a tv celebrity. Instead of leaving this guy alone, someone wanted an exclusive interview to attract viewership. He complied because he's trying to clear his name. That's his right. In this instance, He's a victim too. JMO
Fair enough. Why is mom there with him. What’s your take?

Respectfully, a lawsuit based on what?

A federal judge does not sign off on a federal warrant against somebody on a whim.

What does everyone make of the theory that this could have been a local person, who:

- knows the neighborhood well but doesn't necessarily live in the same estates as NG
- has met SG, AG, and NG
- is a seemingly overly social individual, but kind of a loner when out in crowds
-is also a person who lives alone
-has a steady job, but not a typical work schedule

All speculation from me.
I would start to say anyone who would do this has to be awful- no kids/no dogs, but Bridge Guy who killed Abby & Libby had a family and a normal job. Everyone knows that BTK had a "normal life" (job, kids, wife, church) and then a "hobby" of strangling people to death. Accused Rex Heuerman had the double life too... and the Golden State Killer. You have some one who, instead of watching the game after work, or playing softball in a league, dresses up in burglar clothing, goes into a house and kills an 84 yr old woman. So I guess this was a lot of fun for him; better than golf, better than off-roading, better than BBQing, better than sex or drugs. IMO.

Agreed. Also, this crime is vastly different than the crimes he's accustomed to committing.
I also agree. I actually feel bad for the dude. He strikes me as a someone going through recovery. This spotlight cannot be helping with that.

First, I might be wrong on the 20 years ago thing so i deleted my post. MOM was there because it's her home or they live together was what I thought. Let's add in emotional support too. I think I would have my Sicilian AND Italian side sitting with me if that happened to me. Plus add in Big Sal and Frankie Knuckles. LOL They seemed like simple people who are struggling with LD's other legal problem and now this. i am willing to give them both a break. I just think it's a nothing burger as it relates to NG. JMO

30 days? Unreal. The Guthrie's desperately want, need, and deserve answers. Where is Nancy? I hope the perp(s) have a heart and come forward to put an end to this nightmare.
Doubt it.
