I’m going put money down that this clip will be used in criminology classes in the future. Yikes.
Agree!I listened to both interviews! Quite a bit of contradictory statements to reconcile. I can visualize the Attorney is putting his hand in his head!
I think Briana Whitney wanted them both there. LD was detained and interviewed at Culver’s, and his car was searched and seized. His mother was detained at the same time, and removed from the house while it was searched. Same times, but different places, and I think the reporter wanted to hear from them both about the two events. Why is mom there with him. What’s your take?
Respectfully, a lawsuit based on what?
A federal judge does not sign off on a federal warrant against somebody on a whim.
I'm feeling like the more information we get the less sense it makes. Every time I'm like Yea finally then I review and I'm likeThis doesn’t happen to me often. After watching this mind numbing interview, I just stared at the wall.
I need to think on why I’m so bothered. IMO
LD in the car at Culver’s, MD in the home. The reporting I saw suggested LD’s brother also at the home. I don’t know if that’s accurate. (Edit: no mention at all now of a third person, so perhaps that early reporting was wrong?)I thought that the mom and son were detained from the house and a 3rd person at Culver’s. So if LD was at Culver’s, was MD down visiting and MCD went to the Phoenix area with him or was someone else detained at the house? ETA - Do we know who the 3rd person was?
First, I might be wrong on the 20 years ago thing so i deleted my post. MOM was there because it's her home or they live together was what I thought. Let's add in emotional support too. I think I would have my Sicilian AND Italian side sitting with me if that happened to me. Plus add in Big Sal and Frankie Knuckles. LOL They seemed like simple people who are struggling with LD's other legal problem and now this. i am willing to give them both a break. I just think it's a nothing burger as it relates to NG. JMO
If you figure out why you are bothered by this I would love to hear your thoughts because I feel the same way…but not sure exactly what it is…This doesn’t happen to me often. After watching this mind numbing interview, I just stared at the wall.

That is bizarre! If I got pulled over, I might be looking at the speedometer, wondering if I had been speeding but I wouldn't assume it was connected to a big case on the news. Call me crazy, but that sort of sounds like a consciousness of guilt kind of thing. MOOoooIt's interesting that when he was pulled over he says he thought, 'oh this must be about the Nancy Guthrie case.' Why would he think that? If I were pulled over by sheriffs deputies and detained I would think, 'they must have me mixed up with someone else!'
Maybe he thinks it will clear his name?

In his shoes i would think the first thing he would think of is that they were looking for drugs. That is bizarre! Yeah, I wonder if the pressure from CP forced their hands, here.I listened to both interviews! Quite few contradictory statements to reconcile. I can visualize the Attorney is putting his head in his hands! Other interesting statements too.
True. If LD is not involved I imagine the judge may have been influenced by public pressure on the case, investigators' sense of urgency, and prosecutors must've written a compelling enough affidavit. Doesn't mean the affidavit was 100% factual, just compelling enough that it must've seemed so. We'll know when the defense attorney gets his hands on it and checks for any inaccuracies and/or other grounds to litigate.
That doesn't mean he isn't going to parade his guy out there to garner some sympathy and try to influence public opinion just in case. Of course he is!
JMO.
What bothered me is the passivity with her. It was like yeah, I guess they are spending 6 hours in my house because that lady is missing. Like it was somehow normal and they were doing it with everyone. I also felt like she was a little disconnected cognitively and it made me feel weird. Like why are they doing this to her. But for all I know she was a willing participant and wanted this interview to happen. If you figure out why you are bothered by this I would love to hear your thoughts because I feel the same way…but not sure exactly what it is…
You've probably heard of this:Ok, I said this was one and done. He's not going to do this again. Much has been made of the 23rd Psalm as it relates to SG. I put the 23rd Sonnet from Shakespeare up but i guess it was removed. Long shot, to be sure but the 23rd sonnet is about love and unspoken words. If 23 is a meaningful # (highway exit or something someone posted this morning) ,then this might be germane . Here's the link.

I just rewatched the interview and I agree with your thoughts. 100%What bothered me is the passivity with her. It's just all her references were weird 'you know I spent some time at 'xxx' house cause they are such great neighbors and as you know I went to my son 'xxx' house in Phoenix with the grandchildren.
It was all out strange IMO
