True. If LD is not involved I imagine the judge may have been influenced by public pressure on the case, investigators' sense of urgency, and prosecutors must've written a compelling enough affidavit. Doesn't mean the affidavit was 100% factual, just compelling enough that it must've seemed so. We'll know when the defense attorney gets his hands on it and checks for any inaccuracies and/or other grounds to litigate.
That doesn't mean he isn't going to parade his guy out there to garner some sympathy and try to influence public opinion just in case. Of course he is!
