Two photos showing the general neighborhood.

Thank you 😊

It seems to me that the only neighbours who may have seen something would be the house to the R when facing NG’s.
Is that the neighbour whose camera has been repeatedly looked at ?

I feel a car could drive in NG’s driveway, quietly, with lights out, and go unnoticed. MOO

But what is the timber ramp leading to front Porch ? Maybe could be so Nancy can use her walker to get to letter box or cars in driveway . … but it also tells me that at 2am or whatever that fateful morning, there was no car waiting at the end of the porch !
I wonder was there blood on that ramp also. Like breadcrumbs for Hansel & Gretel, I think those drops would show the way she was taken.

JMO .

Have authorities ever stated that the doorbell cam was disconnected physically? I feel like they meant it was disconnected from the network, suggesting someone had familiarity with the security system(s). That would narrow the search to family, very close associates, contractors (security, electric, maintenance).

They've never stated whether the 1:47am "disconnect" was virtual or physical, but we do know that the camera was physically removed at some point, because it hasn't been found

I'm pretty sure the 1:47am disconnection was from the network and not physically, as the camera was still in place to capture the porch videos which almost certainly happened around 2:12am

So, not simply unplugged?

@OldCop
Thank you for the photos of the home in relationship to the neighborhood. Ok, even if he went through the back door, he came out the front door because the blood drops are obvious. I don't think the homes behind NG are relevant. The car theoretically would be seen no matter what street it was parked on. Looks like quite a distance to park the car on the street behind NG then run thru the yards, disable NG, then run thru the yards again, get the car and park it at NG's and bring her out. That doesnt even make sense. So, I will scrap that idea.

I do wonder why they think the perp came prior to the actual Lantana incident? He risked being seen in the neighborhood twice??? Makes little sense to me.

Possibly he lurked for awhile in the car then approached the door without his gear. However, why wouldnt he have disabled the camera on the first go-round? IMO, He looked, went back in his car, donned his gear and disabled the camera and went in. 1 night 1 trip 1 stalker! ;) JMO

I think in the video of LD and his mother, when they said that ‘oh it must be to do with Nancy Guthrie’ was their first thought, I don’t think this is suspicious in itself. I think they both have lied here as they didn’t want to admit to assuming it was a drugs search - I believe he fully thought he was pulled over for a drug search and also that the mom’s first thought would be ‘my effing son better not have left drugs in the house’. They are just trying to keep up appearances.

I could easily be wrong, but I thought the porch videos were at 1:47am and that some camera -- maybe a different one -- detected motion at 2:12am. Was that ever made clear to the public? Does anyone have handy a timeline from a good source?

yes! Makes total sense. Poor guy and mom are on a redemption tour of sorts. He might have a history regarding drugs but he's not a murderer. Too many people have been dragged through the mud in the last month. IMO, AB did a lot of damage. Then this guy and Carlos have been targeted by LE and the online community. Enough ! I hate seeing people kicked when they are down. Thank you @GlobeFireCandle. Excellent analysis! JMO

There reason I say the porch videos are around 2:12am (which indeed contradicts what LE originally said) is that the shadow length and angles mean the videos were almost definitely captured after 2am and closer to 2:10am or around there which lines up perfectly with that motion detection.

Someone else (can't remember who) on here pointed me to the shadow thing and I haven't been able to find a reasonable alternative explanation for the shadows we see in the clips

That same information is shared here:

"At 1:47 a.m. Sunday, a few hours after Guthrie is believed to have come home, her doorbell camera was disconnected, according to Nanos. Though he confirmed it was removed, he said “we’re not confirming that any cameras were smashed or destroyed around the house.”

About 25 minutes later, at 2:12 a.m., surveillance camera software detected movement, Nanos said."

I’m familiar with cameras.if he placed the doorbell cam in his pocket and walked around it could disconnect/connect to the network just by walking into and out of network range.
My camera only connects to my network when it’s very close to the house.if I move it further out to another area of my small driveway it loses the network connection. It’s a matter of feet.if I walked around with my camera it would disconnect/ connect many times.

Ask war widows … my uncle was a WWII Navy pilot shot down in the Pacific. My aunt was widowed at 23. They never found his body and she lived with wondering until she died seventy years later. Not really the same but the wondering forever leaves a hollow spot.
Yes, I saw the same thing first hand. My uncle was a WWII US Navy sailor onboard a ship that was sunk in the Pacific. The family did not have a body to bury, so he never came home alive or dead. It is a double loss. My grandmother wanted him to come home to bury him. When I was little, I thought of him as floating in the ocean all by himself. My heart goes out to the Guthrie family.

He doesn't seem to have the emotional maturity to express empathy or concern for the Guthrie family. Seemed very focused on himself and not very self-aware. I don't necessary think he's the perp, but his lack of personal responsibility and lack of concern about the case was startling. MOO
Sadly, I think young people like that all the time. They just don't seem to give a flip about other people, only about how something affects them.

On February 5th Nanos stated, "At 2:12 a.m., software detects a person on camera."

"So, that detects a person on camera. Could that be an animal? I imagine that's possible. We don't know that. We just have no video, but we're not giving up on that."

2:12 a.m. is the only reference we hear from Nanos where software detected a person on camera.
We know Lantana man was alerted to the doorbell camera being active because he immediately tried to block it with his hand and then tried to remove it.

There is no doubt in my mind that the video of Lantana man was recorded at 2:12 a.m.

Okay, @Napoli. Team of 2? Inside guy and getaway driver. If this is a preplanned kidnapping, you have to figure out how you are going to remove the target from the scene. If it is a 1 person job, you have to be parked very close by. You can’t be parading a mobility impaired 84 year old through the streets at 2:00 am. You can’t park on the street where your vehicle would stick out like a sore thumb. You can’t park in Nancy’s yard or a neighbor’s yard because your vehicle would be caught on camera.
So what’s a kidnapper to do? You have an accomplice. You both have walkie talkies. The plan is the inside guy enters the house from the side slider or rear door, overtakes the victim, binds her hands, duct tapes her mouth, gets her ready to be taken. The accomplice parks nearby, but not in a yard or on the street. He gets a call on his walkie talkie that the inside guy is ready for pickup with the target. The accomplice swings into the circular drive for a 2 minute pickup from his parking area. Inside guy walks the victim down from the side or back. In and out in 3 minutes.
Where does the accomplice parks so he won’t be noticed? Small businesses and malls often have nighttime security and/or cameras. How about a nearby hotel? People in and out all hours of the night. Not much security except for maybe a drive by every hour or so. They have cameras, but were they all checked? Pull in, shut off your lights and engine, and wait for the call on your walkie talkie. In 5 minutes you are at the victim’s home.
The problem with the original plan was that something went wrong in the house. Nancy put up a much bigger fight than was expected. She got hurt. They had to abort the original exit plan. She had to be carried out and they would use the front door.
1 night, 1 trip, 2 kidnappers. 😊
Whatcha think?

I'm on a bit of a rollercoaster with that. I originally assumed the video was from just before 01:47am but then I was convinced by the shadow thing and was sure it was at 02:12am but after doing another bit of rough calculation I get two different results so I am now torn on the timing
