<snipped & BBM>
[A neighbor], a six-year resident of the community, said he did not know Guthrie well but noted that he saw her regularly. He recalled seeing her with a dog in her front yard, and he saw her several times while walking his two Papillons in the neighborhood. He said Guthrie also drove herself around.

Gardeners and other apparent workers were regularly at her home.

just a guess but if this is still going on Thurs. I think Pima County will have a spokesperson conducting the press conf.
This will definitely be going on Thursday. Evidence takes time to process and the LE agencies will have to have enough before any kind of arrest. JMO

OH WOW, I saw TMZ today had a post about it, said it was sent to them. I was working and couldn't investigate. Are you telling me that TMZ went public BEFORE calling the police. THAT is terrible, no ethics if that is true, WOW.
Here's the TMZ video - I actually don't think it's too crazy. Sounds like they did send it to the police and they didn't divulge any specifics. MOO

Edit - I'm also reading that other news outlets might have gotten the letter before TMZ (they said they got it Tuesday morning)

I think they redacted some of it because I'm not seeing the Monday Thursday reference anymore
Yes, they did not give details about some of the specific content. You still stay quiet and let LE handle it - that's my view.

Are flock cameras common in the areas close to her home? If so, that gives me more hope that someone's vehicle was captured on camera during the time frame of her disappearance.
There are some. I believe the sheriff said they would be checking them. It's a sore subject around here. I'll leave it at.

Sore subject locally as well here in Alabama. This case is one of those times to see if they are beneficial in assisting an investigation

I agree completely.

It’s possible the later night out reduced her margin of safety. I’m assuming she typically was not out that late. Her lights are maybe on longer than normal, this draws attention. Coming home later means smaller deviations from what’s normal, taking longer to lockup , leaving a door unlocked longer than usual, , not doing the normal lockup because you’re tired. Fatigue lowers margins , a stronger urge “to just get inside and rest”.

Someone explained to me before that routines protect people more than they realize . When someone’s schedule is predictable it can accidentally keep them safe. Her being out that late could have removed that protection for a short window. This is a scenario speculation where she’s THE target because a bad guy took notice and acted . IMO

However I don’t think this was random and it’s someone known to her. That’s a wide net to cast. IMO

from what I can determine note was sent to KOLD local station on Monday....they went to LE and did not go public. Then TMZ got the same one and went public and now another station has one.

I don’t believe she opened the door at that late hour.
I agree. Are people saying she opened the door because it doesn't look bashed in? The suspect or suspects might've forced entry by some other route and later taken the then-bleeding Guthrie out the front door.

we don't know TBH. However is it's run by a lawyer, I'm pretty sure they would get in trouble for that if that was actually the case and he knows that. Likely it was passed on first, although others here have posted about how it could have happened.

The police did state forced entry. It may have been a side door or window. Don't know why some are fixated on the front door,

Monday as in yesterday or next Monday?

i forget which source reported it, but i think the letter said they wanted the money by thursday or they'd kill her on monday. since she went missing between saturday the 31st and sunday the 1st, that has to be this upcoming thursday and monday.

Bottom line I think whether she was up or asleep, known person or a stranger I don't think physically there was much she could have done anyway. Sadly.

Because the blood spatter is at the front door. I think that's where that focus came from.

. I do think dinner til 8:30pm or later is quite late unless it was a special occassion, especially since church the next morning but that was at 11am,
A few pages back there was a reference to a “happy birthday to my mom”-type social media post made by Savannah G. on, I believe, January 27th 2021 or 2022. EDITED TO ADD LINK BELOW TO THE POST, WHICH WAS FROM 2020.

am guessing that the late-ish family dinner after which NG was harmed might have been related to Nancy’s birthday (a special occasion)?

Well, if one of her nightgowns is missing we could guess she was wearing that. Her daughters (and others) likely have helped her pack, done laundry, know about her clothing...
We know she's Christian - maybe a cross? Family would certainly be able to recognize it.
