I’m guessing some or all of these activities may be currently curtailed due to coronavirus. Can’t imagine they’d put prison staff at risk for crochet & banjo bs. Jmo
Do not get me stared! I work In State Prison and know a lot about Federal

They don't give a F. It's all red tape, money and administrative issues.

Goes on and on and on..

Maybe Pilates will be held outside. Probably all classes, including the bike repair tech class will be held out in the sunshine. Southern California.

The bike repair tech as ‘an alternate vocation’ is comical in this context.

I knew who you meant- just believe that there are prob hundreds like him across USA aiding the same scam. Jmo

I haven’t seen any updates on him. Curious where he is going to end up.

I want you to know that this is personally gut wrenching for me. I would totally LOVE to have the time and opportunity to take a bike tech class! I am constantly messing with my bike, usually trying to figure it out myself, then taking it to the bike shop.

Seriously, you don't want to hear me rant about this...because I am SO po'ed. Geez, can I have a two month hiatus from my life? To learn how to tune my bike, and do yoga? Work on a crocheted poncho?

Not making light of federal prison, but honestly, it isn't that bad. She probably won't even get lice.

I don’t have anything good to say about the amenities being offered to prisoners. That’s really messed up. It’s a vacation, ‘pick which activities you want to take part in’.

My reference to ‘bike repair’ was about this comment “should Loughlin be considering a career change.” I think she will be wrapped up in attempting to repair her reputation.

Loughlin’s reputation will never be repaired. Imo.

Hallmark yes, but I can see her being offered a spot on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or Orange County.

And to her that is the worst of consequences.
I don’t think the reputations of her daughters will ever be repaired either. That should be worse for her. Imo. They were revered as uber pretty, wealthy, stylish, cute actress/influencers. Desired for sponsorship. Now the best they can hope for is “Desperate Housewives” or some other raunchy crass show. Otoh, I think Felicity’s career might recover. Lori & her clan should have just owned up to their entitlement & superiority & this could have been a blip in time. Now it’ll be all that people remember. Jmo

Mossimo Giannulli, husband of actress Lori Loughlin, will serve 5 months in Lompoc prison

The first 2 weeks will be boring, no access to bike tuning or gym or what have you. Isolation because of the virus. So she will be miserable, bored out of her mind the first 2 weeks anyway. Felicity was smart, took a first offered plea, went in before her surrender date and was out way before Covid hit. Now Federal inmates get to sit in isolation for 2 weeks.

And even when she is out of isolation she has 6 weeks of sharing up close and personal air space with a few hundred women plus staff. 6 weeks to worry about catching Covid, sounds nightmarish, crochet or no crochet.

2 Cents

AW Aunt Becky, you did it all for the love of your children. But hey, at least you have found your moral compass, at least you will have that, until you get caught again.

Abby Lee Miller Explains Lori Loughlin’s Prison Life Daily Routine – Hollywood Life

abby-lee-miller-lori-loughlin-prison-mega-ftr.jpg

(Her first 2 weeks will be in Covid isolation)

Excerpts:

The women in the prison cook the food, so it can vary from day to day. Some cooks spice the food more than others. There’s a menu that is nationwide, every single federal prison on every single Wednesday is having a hamburger or cheeseburger. We had taco Tuesday. The food itself is not bad, it’s the way it’s presented (that's bad) in the plastic tray and it’s slopped in there. A lot of tater tots and wheat bread.

The repetitiveness is a drag, the same daily routine like Groundhog Day. It starts with a 6am breakfast of usually oatmeal, get there early while it is still hot. They sell raisins in the commissary you can add to it. You can not take any food out and they stand at the door to make sure.

At 10am there’s a count. You’re up, you’re dressed and somebody comes in and they count you. They literally walk up and down the aisles and you stand right outside your little cubicle and you get counted. Some inmates go to life skill jobs like plumbing, welding and landscaping. But it isn’t required and if someone doesn't work, they’re in free time until lunch is served.

Working inmates get to eat lunch at 10:30am, followed by the rest of the general population.

Then it is more free time, then another head count, then dinner between 4pm and 5:30pm.

There is a library, games, some programs that go on in the chapel or in the church, classes taught by inmates, inmates studying for their GED

There are two TV rooms for inmates, with one TV on a Spanish channel and another in English. News programs take precedent over other viewing options.

Lights out around 9 to 10 pm but sometimes the guards wouldn’t care and you could watch TV until 2 in the morning.

I read 150 books, got a tan and lost 127 pounds.

How did she get a tan? If they can get a tan, that’s way too much outdoor time. Sounds more like high school summer camp to me. Man, life’s a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 ain’t it? SMH

Can Lori Loughlin make a career comeback after serving prison sentence? Experts weigh in

Andrew Gilman, president & CEO of CommCore Consulting Group, weighed in on Loughlin's sentencing and if her acting career is salvageable after she serves.

If she accepts the punishment, pays the fine, and puts in the hours of community service, she will have paid the price to the court of law, he told Fox News. In the court of public opinion, restoring her reputation and getting hired again will depend on time, her sincerity and [if] producers and audiences [are] willing to forgive and forget. He questioned if values-based networks like Hallmark might be slower to accept her being cast.

Eden Gillott, president of Gillott Communications, told Fox News that "a reputation isn't like a computer on the fritz. You can't just flip a switch and restore a career as if nothing happened. She’s going to need a hard reset."
In order for Loughlin to return to Hollywood, it's "going to require laying low and being as un-newsworthy as possible while she redefines what's important to her and her family."

Howard Breuer, CEO of a Los Angeles-based PR firm Newsroom PR, called Loughlin's sentencing amid a pandemic "serendipitous" because very few TV and movies have returned to production. So, by the time any projects were to resume, Loughlin will be out of prison. "Think about all that we are going through now and what the next year will be like. Will anyone care?" he wondered.

Irwin Feinberg, a founding partner at the FMBK law firm, disagreed to a point. He reasoned that Loughlin "played by a whole different set of rules. Rules that didn't apply to the 'little people.'"

"In essence, she used those rules to buy her daughters' admissions into the schools that she wanted for them. If she's going to seek redemption in the public's eye, she going to have to find a level of humility," he added. "[Loughlin] needs to establish that's she's contrite... and is determined not to repeat those mistakes."
