Loved ones are mourning the loss of a 13-year-old North Carolina girl who was fatally shot days before Christmas, as police announce the arrests of three teenagers.

The girl, identified by family as Jaleeyah Tune, was shot and killed around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 21, in Goldsboro, local police said, per ABC 11, Fox affiliate WGHP and Spectrum News.

In basic terms, Felony Conspiracy means that
- two or more people agreed to commit an unlawful act (for example, to shoot someone),
- an act was taken as part of that agreement (like obtaining a weapon, approaching a victim, etc).

As it is alleged that the three boys conspired together, they are also each charged with first degree murder, even though (one would think that) only one of them fired the weapon.
