Ugh someone burning the evidence? Not good JMO.

Some comments say he didn't have FB just IG (account is private, but photo there scares me because some people would like to take that $$$ KWIM?):

Somebody really did a job on his car. Damm. And where is he?

Good reason to burn car is to get rid of blood and other forensic evidence. That does not bode well.

So they need to find out if he showed up for work ( sisters said last they saw him he left house to go to work—all seemed normal to them). If so, did anything unusual happen at work, and what time did he leave?
Street cameras, Ring cameras in areas around town?
Maybe a carjacking?

I thought this part was interesting BBM

There’s a car on fire right outside of our apartment,” the 911 caller said, according to Fox 6. “We thought it was like a gunshot and then I walked out here and I see fire flickering.”

Missing Teen Boy’s Car Found Set on Fire as Desperate Search Continues: Police

I wonder if they actually did hear a gunshot or if that sound was the car catching on fire from an accelerant (with a whoosh).

I also see the water posted by @KatzEye and hope they check there. Looks like a short way to pull a body and throw it in (or walk someone to the edge there and shoot them and push in).

Authorities said his body was found at the intersection of Witty Rd. and Lake Brandt Road.

That location is 20 miles away from where Tran's burned out Dodge Charger was found on Tuesday.

20 miles away… and it’s possible it’s just the way it is worded but it’s odd that he was found at an intersection!?

I was reading a lot of reviews regarding Timbercreek Apartments, where Alan's car was found. Apparently, people hear a lot of gunshots here. There are a lot of break-ins, robberies, and shootings, people say this is a dangerous place to live in.

"Somebody got shot not two weeks ago and a few day ago there was a car on fire and the guy that owned the car is missing. They raised the rent 100 more dollars for a crime infested place."

"If you love gunshots all the time, this place is great."

Plus the intersection is not what I expected (not overgrown with cover, etc.)

Not that it means anything, but I noticed there is a high school in the general vicinity of the intersection (7 mins), and a haunted house called "Woods of Terror". Maybe someone younger, familiar with the area?

Maybe the perp just rolled him out of the car at the intersection.

a 2020 Charger can sell from 30,000 to 49,000 (depending on model). Someone wanted to get rid of evidence. As a stolen vehicle that would have brought in some cash. My thoughts go out to his family.

I suspect the desire to get rid of evidence that tied the actor to the event was greater than the prospective income gained by selling the car. Too much blood to clean up along with fingerprints, etc. The Forensics shows have done a great job of educating the public about forensic evidence, and teach criminals how to get rid of it.

For the court case lookup people here, the perp name also shown as "Traviante Demetrius Davis" in some places (not sure which is correct?).

Edited to add: It does look like the last name is "Davis" under arrests
