The Haywood County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for its help to find a teenage girl who has been missing since Thanksgiving Day.

Sheriff's Det. Heidi Van Dine said today that Amanda Lou Ballew, 17, has been missing since going on an outing Paragon Parkway shopping center in Clyde Nov. 22.

The Haywood County Sheriff’s Office today said a teenage girl missing since Thanksgiving left willingly with a man from the Food Lion in Clyde on Nov. 22.

and

Sheriff’s Detective Heidi Van Dine said she was last seen with 21-year-old Tristan Wade “T.W.” Brinkman.

Authorities believe the two left in an older dark blue-gray Ford 150 pickup truck.

Amanda must have been recovered, as she was arrested in 2016 and also comes up in 2019 court documents:
