VICTIM: Annie Lee Anderson, 84.
DATE OF KILLING: Aug. 19.
LOCATION: 2100 block of Morgan Road in Kelly.
WHAT HAPPENED: On the morning of Annie Anderson's 84th birthday, her granddaughter found her body in the kitchen of Anderson's modest home tucked into the woods off Morgan Road in Kelly. The front door of the home was damaged and ajar. Anderson was last seen alive at 5 p.m. the previous evening. According to the autopsy report, Anderson died of two shotgun wounds to the chest.
STATUS OF CASE: The case is under investigation. No suspects have been identified and no warrants have been issued.
