No new news, at least that I have heard.
At this point, with no other details or developments, I am 50/50 on what happened (voluntary vs involuntary missing). I’d love to know many things. One is whether his passport is still at home. Is any other key item like that missing from his home (ie, he took things with him). But also … is it true he was meeting a friend for a drink last week? If so, who was that, and what was the name of the place they went? What did he buy at Walmart on his recent trip? Did any of his family or friends suspect or hear anything? Has he ever taken off or gone missing before? Did he have any financial problems? What did his financial activity look like the past 12 months? Did he have any other problems with his work, health, etc? Perhaps we are not seeing this case getting more local media attention because there is more going on here (or not going on). So hard to know…
