It doesn't list Aiken's race, but I found this doe from later that year. Gastonia is about 4 hours away from Wilmington.

In the situation of having no pictures available if he went to high school here a yearbook picture could be tracked down. My Mom works for New Hanover county schools, and I remember they had yearbooks from all local schools in their office. I am not sure how far back they have them collected though.
