Today is the day, that Beverley jaye Potter mintz would have been 60 year old. Heavenly happy birthday to her.. Also, I have just found out her son, Andrew had passed away recently, I think it was on the 26 th November, I don't know the circumstances, such a sad situation, I think he was only 39, he had small kids.
And the wife has put up gofundme page;trying to raise money to arrange funeral and everything. apparently, it was too sudden. Has anyone have information on that, please share your thoughts and opinions, thank you.

It seems the information from Mark Evans was wrong, Jay Potter Mintz's house was moved to Southport/NC. (A friend in the family corrected the info).
Is the house dismantled?

Hope her little one is faring well ... would be almost 40 years old now. Wonder if they have any insight into the case, or have tried to prod LE at all?

Another small detail : I know a 2 year child testimony isn't what you could call the ideal lead, but he mentions the late Beverly looking through the peephole, I noticed the front door (at least from old photos ) apparently does not have it. If the back door had it , maybe the criminal entered and exited through the back door ?

Again, it is just my opinion but I am sure the perp was someone she knew well. Expecting a stranger she was surprised to greet a well known person. Just my gut feeling, nothing else.
I could not agree more

It's not a case now, unfortunately, that 2 year old, then, he has recently passed away, he will never have the chance to speak out or get to learn as to who killed his mother.

Yes they certainly can. However, I was talking with a specialist in the area and memories are often mixed with fantasy when a kid is so young. But it's worth trying, for DNA results are not coming soon (I wonder why). I know the family a bit and think he wouldn't accept it.
Do you think he was going through a depression or something? What was the illness?

And also knew the beverley mother and the other child was away
Yes perfect! Every move the family made, every information, everything was perfectly timed.
Plus, the family appeared to be subdued, why??
My believe it was the sudden disaster, and the horrors experienced

I don't know, sorry. I hope it was not. I tried to look into every street of that new place, perhaps it was refurbished.

This is a really sad information; I didn't know that. He was a really nice person from what I could gather.
May he rest in peace.

He had a unexpected, almost sudden death. According to his wife, after being hospitalized for some undisclosed problem (from which he was expected to get over), he was rushed to ICU and soon had organs failure. Pretty sad. I think her situation is bad and if anyone could help, it would be much appreciated.

Going over the case again. I forgot about the fact that a roofing crew was working just across the street and seen nothing.

That sticks with me too.

Maybe because the murderer came from the backyard. It was someone who knew the area pretty well. He really acted like a hunter (inference intended, but just a guess of course).

Further to my previous post, it is worth considering that, in addition to the prevailing theories suggesting she was the victim of a serial killer or rapist, alternative hypotheses such as being the target of revenge or a contract killing should be explored. While the dominant narrative portrays her as a peaceful and amiable individual—an assertion I do not dispute—the prospect of her initiating a new chapter in her life with a new romantic partner may have provoked animosity among certain individuals

here's a view of some of the archives on the late Beverly Potter Mintz. Got the pic from an ABC video.
