Luster, 42, has a lengthy criminal record that dates back to 2001. He has faced more than 50 charges since he was 19 and spent nearly five years incarcerated.
Here are some of the crimes Luster's been convicted of within the past two decades:
- In the early 2000s, Luster spent seven months in jail and was charged with numerous crimes, including assaulting a female, making threats and domestic criminal trespassing.
- In 2005, Luster went back to jail for close to one year and two months. He was charged with crimes that included drug charges, assaulting a female, assault with a deadly weapon and eluding arrest.
- Years later, Luster was in jail for more than three months after being convicted of assault with a deadly weapon and willful and wanton injury to personal property.
- In 2010, he was imprisoned nearly three years. He was convicted on charges of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
- In 2017, Luster was sentenced for more than two years and three months. He was convicted of larceny, stealing more than $1,000.
- Now, he's charged with the murder of his cousin's 5-year-old daughter and the attempted murder of a 15-year-old girl.

An attached investigation in the report details that Luster had called 911 to report that he was suffering from an overdose.
The call dropped after dispatchers heard him arguing with Sidberry, who is the cousin of both Fennell and Luster. Officers responded to the scene and found Luster choking Sidberry.
Sidberry screamed that she had been shot, the report says. Luster charged at an officer and was “wrestled to the ground” before being arrested.

Her family said she loved to dance and play in water. She was a funny young girl who "could light up the darkest room." She was ready to start kindergarten in the fall.
"She was strong, very strong since the day she was born...always happy," cousin Davona Hallion said of Khloe.

Fennell was born with a heart condition and underwent multiple surgeries and numerous other procedures at a very young age, according to a message from her family on a fundraiser page to help with funeral expenses. Brittany Dash, Fennell’s mother, told CBS 17 that she wants the community to know how much of a fighter her daughter was.

The report says after the argument, Luster went into another room and grabbed a gun belonging to Fennell’s mother. Police said Luster then shot at Sidberry who was babysitting Fennell and another 18-month-old relative.
According to the report, Sidberry pushed the baby into a closet and tried to shield Fennell with her own body. Sidberry survived the seven shots fired into her body.

the 15 year old acted bravely. I am sure Khloe's mom regrets having let her cousin stay with her family. What a heavy price to pay for that mistake.
