Kelli was a grown woman, married, and leaving a bar. Not sure how these two are similar except Kelli is missing too. Are they just comparing one missing person to another missing person?

Are the two females missing from the same area and/or state?

Same state, and even the same county, but I don't see anything to link these. Maybe it's the fact that they haven't found either of them. Fort Bragg is in several different counties due to location/size. Hope Mills is a teeny place in the one of these counties.

I read this article earlier today as well. I even read it 3x trying to find out what they were trying to say was "similar" between these two cases. I see nothing similar, aside from them both being female & both being missing from the state & county?

:dunno:

I don't know either and I reread it too. I know it's always good to remind people of cold cases, so it can't hurt, but it's kind of strange.

FWIW...I read this to be the connection....the search coordinator, Tina Turner, organized for both Danielle and Kelli and was just commenting from that view point. jmo

"I was hopeful this would not be like the Kelli Bordeaux case," said search coordinator Tina Turner.
Bordeaux disappeared in April 2012, and hasn't been seen since. Turner helped organize many of the volunteer searches. Now she's seeing the same frantic faces of another desperate family.

This almost seems voluntary - or at least started that way. Now that I see that a dozen FBI agents are on board, it's looking more and more dire. Have they released what clothes they found of hers, and whether or not the boyfriend/friends cell records checked out?

If she went to hang out with a lot of folks at the creek, and her clothes were found at the creek, and police were looking at the phones of several acquaintances, it almost seems like they suspect a 'ganglike' sexual assault/rape scenario. Hope that's not the case.

Unless they know absolutely nothing, I think somebody should say if there is a threat. I would hate to live there and not know if this was an isolated and targeted thing, or if they think it's a predator on the loose. I don't know if the FBI is as forthcoming as a sheriff may be. It may be they know nothing which is horrifying.

May unrelated, but they are also searching in Fayetteville for a missing boy who is 14, Liam Monge, and have had 2 instances where teenagers have reported attempted abduction by a male. The boy lived near the roller skating rink, not sure if she went there or not, a lot of the teens do, maybe that is somehow connected?

Just reading news articles this evening, I found these two that caught my eye. I'm not saying they are directly related to Danielle, but it is interesting since one of these locations is within 5 miles of where Danielle was possibly at (the creek between Legion Rd & Cameron Rd).

From 3/26/14:
Attempted abduction under investigation in Cumberland County

A 17-year-old Gray's Creek High School student said he was walking along Pride Lane on Monday, March 17 around 5:30 p.m. when a man approached him in a black four-door Ford Focus.

From 3/27/14:
2nd suspicious incident with teen reported

Fayetteville police said around 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning, a 13-year-old student said a man pulled up alongside her in the area of Bayleaf Drive near Palmetto Lane (Lafayette Village) in a white 4-door vehicle.

More info related to the two stories I posted above.

Again, authorities do not know if this is related to the disappearance of Danielle, but it is in very close proximity to one of her last known locations.

BBM

ABC11 has learned that the unknown driver approached not one, but two children on Thursday. Both incidents occurred Thursday morning in the Lafayette Village neighborhood.

News story video at link with home surveillance video of the car in question. Any locals, please be sure to take a look.

Is there a timeline for this anywhere? I have been looking but I am pretty new here :(

I feel like there is a lot of information and none of it is properly detailed (by the media-not here)

Not sure if it has been mentioned but could she have been lured out with the "folder" thing and then something happened? IMO
