It bothers me that there was no funeral service for him. I do believe his brother had or will have a memorial service in Arkansas.

Hmm, that was really strange there was no type of memorial service for him in Asheville. Bet that got the gossip line going good!

A local doctor, murdered in his home, and the wife has no "celebration of life" to remember her beloved husband and Doctor in the community? That in itself for a Southern town raises too many questions!

Wonder what is holding up an arrest? It all seems so cut and dried. Do you suppose the government is working on the case the couple were under investigation for before an arrest is made?

My opinions only.

She has moved out of town and the house is on the market. Pictures of the vacant house are online.

I can understand not staying in the house where her husband was murdered…. either way – innocent or guilty.
It looks like she didn’t move far – about 10 miles away; from Arden to Asheville. Unless she moved farther away and is using River Ridge as an address to receive mail?

Boy, that was sure quick! To be a new widow in such an unexpected manner, she certainly wasted no time in getting out of town!,
Sounds a bit fishy!

My opinions only!

WOW!!! Offer is pending on the house!!!!

I didn't see a listing where a man was murdered! :panic: :footinmouth:

I'm surprised at how quickly it sold. I wonder if someone purchased BECAUSE of the infamy? In NC, a death in a home isn't considered a material fact and doesn't have to be disclosed unless the buyer asks, or unless that is of importance to the buyer. At any rate, BM will benefit financially from the sale.

Pending offer on house seems low by neighborhood comparison.
Fines could be assessed after the Dept of Revenue completes its investigation, and then a potential lien on property.
Perhaps BM quickly wants assets that are more liquid and easily transferrable before that investigation is finalized.

Seesseas I think you're absolutely correct on all counts.

I can understand moving out of the house, but not sure about selling it. Maybe she needs funds for legal aid, aren't the fraud charges still being investigated?

I just got caught up reading this. I would bet my last penny she has already retained the best attorney money can buy.

I fear the person who committed his crime will get away with it. 6 weeks now and no arrest.
