This is how it would go in Massachusetts. The case that brought me here in 2018 was just adjudicated, it took over 6 years. If a defendant wants to delay things, it's within their ability.

No innocent person wants to do that, and there are Constitutional protections to ensure a speedy trial if they want one. This guy didn't, because he knows exactly what is ahead.
Or maybe an innocent person would do that because they KNOW they didn’t do it. Miguel isn’t a mastermind criminal.

If you're making allegations the defense isn't even making, you're doing it wrong.

Maybe so. I look forward to chatting after the trial.

This clearly wasn't committed by a mastermind criminal. DNA inside of her, print on the bottle, and DNA on the takeout bag with the message written on it.

Sloppy.

Yes @MassGuy … and with all those attorney changes, maybe this individual will choose a client path profile akin to Sarah Boone in FL. MOO
@MassGuy you said he has changed attorneys multiple times but then say, “only once (time he has changed attorneys) that I am aware of” maybe you’re doing it wrong.

Respectfully, is this directed at a post that I have made? Or is it simply misdirected? Thank you. MOO

Doesn’t matter. Even one attorney change can delay things. Again, this could have gone to trial in months if he wanted.

Exactly. Sloppy AF yet it took 9.5 years for an arrest. It wasn’t even police investigation that lead to an arrest. They thought it would all fall into place with Miguel’s arrest but it hasn’t which is why they have a death grip on the discovery.

They are at the mercy of the state. He obviously didn’t have a great attorney to start. Miguel had recently changed attorneys, and now there is a trial date going to be set. So who has been really dragging their feet? Again, defense lawyers that are ready to go without the rest of the discovery. It appears to me that the state has been stalling.

That’s nonsense. You’re reading too much into nothing.

It took that long because of ancestral DNA to break it, which is a brand new process that has solved hundreds of cold cases.

He wasn’t in CODIS.

I will let you have your opinion. I have mine. Which one of us will be singing a different tune after/during trial?

Me. I haven’t called one wrong through countless cases on here in 7 years, and I’m not about to start.

Logic, reason, and overwhelming evidence have always served me well.

If MESO isn't found guilty, then no one else will ever be held accountable for Faith's murder. The evidence isn't there for any other suspect. If someone else were to be brought to trial, the defense would just point to MESO's DNA and palm print being present at the crime scene and the person would be acquitted.

But I am confident MESO will be convicted because it is a slam dunk case based on the abundance of forensic evidence. It's not any different than the other random sexually motivated murders solved by DNA/genetic genealogy. MOO.

That's the exact same damn thing with Richard Allen. Of course this one has compelling physical evidence.

That is the saddest part about it. No one else will be held accountable for Faith’s murder.

The suspect is telling us he did it by delaying the proceedings. The evidence is overwhelming.

Why exactly do you believe they have the wrong guy?

Where do you get this idea that he is delaying the proceedings? Please answer the four questions I asked. And then give your interpretation of the answers.

They have one of the right guys. Not all of them.

Maybe it's just me but I have never been correct on any topic 100 percent of the time, except when it comes to Thai food. I think it's important to answer simple questions, and refer to the public documents.
I encourage everyone to read the lengthy article posted about staging a scene. Please message me privately with any questions or insights. Cannot promise to respond immediately because of childcare duties, but I will respond.
