Found Deceased NC - Forrest Stephen Treat, 29, Union County, 25 Feb 2019

UNION COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - A 29-year-old man was reported missing in Union County Monday night.

According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office, 29-year-old Forrest Stephen Treat was last seen in the Arbor Glen neighborhood in Indian Trail around 11 a.m. on Monday.

Treat is described as a white male, standing 6′1″ and weighing around 155 pounds.

He has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Officials say Treat was last seen wearing a dark jacket, blue checkered shirt and dark blue pants.

If anyone sees Treat, they are asked to call 911 or the Union County Sheriff’s Office at 704-283-3789.

A ticket last year for speed in a school zone - easy to do if the kids aren't out. (NC ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE COURT) but no other suspicious behavior or actions I could find. I could not find him anywhere else on the internet so no idea of work or family situation.

Forrest is known as 'Fins' by his friends. He didnt show up for a work appointment (HVAC) at 11am yesterday so his employer called his girlfriend. The neighbors surveillance show him putting stuff in his work van and then walking off on foot. He took his house keys but left his wallet, work phone and personal phone behind. We are all baffled.

I live in Arbor Glen while I do not know Fins well I am concerned. The police are now in the area with search teams.

Thanks for joining Mooella26. I know the dogs tracked his scent to crooked creek park yesterday but then lost it. There is some residential behind there but then it quickly turns to farm land. Being that the new Monroe expressway cuts right through there we can't rule out that he could have hitched a ride.
