I hope not, this guy is a stone cold predator. He should never have been walking the streets to begin with.

So sad for Hania's family, they've been living a nightmare.

I agree 100%.

I'm not against the death penalty but sometimes I think it's the easy way out. A lifetime of living in jail suits me just fine so long as the stay isn't cushy.

The entries I posted yeterday for him are still there, highlighted due to the date being "today," but that's all, folks.

Nothing on the Robeson County Courts docket today for McLellan -- all the entries shown a couple of days ago are gone. His old ones are still on the District Court docket, but those offenses have nothing to do with Hania.
I couldn't find anything recent on MSM, either. I guess it was just organizational meetings as our good bud, Niner told us. Thank you, @Niner! Held in a Supreme Court courtroom? Odd, but whatever...
Maybe it was the only one available... Dunno.
So, we wait...

Her family is going through another Christmas holiday without her, of course. God bless them all.

Robeson County man accused of killing Lumberton teen expected to be tried in June

Dec. 30, 2020

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WPDE) — Michael McLellan, 36, is expected to be tried in June for the murder of 13-year-old Hania Noelia Aguilar in November of 2018, according to Robeson County District Attorney Matthew Scott.

Scott told ABC 15 in a telephone message that the case is on the homicide calendar and they anticipate McLellan's case going to the June administrative calendar.

Just going thru some December dates - anything on Hania's (18CR056270 & #19CRS000898 thru 910 ), 2016 rape case (#18CR0001998) or the 2018 kidnapping/sexual w/child (#18CRS056271 thru 279). Last hearing for all these 12/7/20.

I do have the 2018 kidnapping w/firearm (#18CR055491) for 2/23/21.

It could be that the prosecutor is seeking to convict separately on all major crimes which is a good way to better insure that the perpetrator will in fact spend life in prison even if for God only knows what reason someone manages to get his murder conviction overturned.

In cases where the advocate is seeking glory for themselves, perhaps there still being a couple 40 year sentences sitting behind the life sentence might discourage them from even making an attempt.
