I know it was said afterward the SUV was found, but I sorta remember it being said before as well. I'm listening to the podcast right now and will try to dig deeper here in a bit.

"Investigators said the SUV was found a little before 8 a.m. Thursday off Quincey Drive, about six miles outside Lumberton. Police Chief Michael McNeill said the search for Hania is becoming "more and more dire."
New pictures released of NC girl who was kidnapped

Hania's sister said, “Out of nowhere the man came in and they took her away. She fell and screamed and we couldn’t hear what she told us and then we went over there and we didn’t know what happened.”

She wasn't in the car. The neighbor also heard Hania scream. MOO

She fell? :( How old is she? Why did she fall? This poor girl is going to need a lot of support. Bless her heart...to have witnessed this...:(

Thank you Zen,
I didn't read the whole article but do you know how far back they can get data? Like if I wanted data from a tower from 2 years ago?

Only current (real-time) data is what the cell simulator receives from the area they are driving around in.

Because the "cell simulator" is intercepting real time data from cell phones in a particular area, it can only be current. It is "acting" like a real cell tower and the cell phones are communicating with it.

Cell providers, when subpoenaed can provide the data from the past. Cell tower dump data (CSLI) can go back quite a long time.

Is this town known for having a high crime rate? I can understand someone not coming forward if they live a life of breaking the law and have a criminal history.

What I dont understand is why any innocent person wouldnt come forward so they could be eliminated.

If he was just walking to work I am sure others would know if it was a typical route he did every work day and would have already recognized him knowing this was just normal workday travel for him.

Since he has not come forward strongly suggests to me this isn't an innocent man on his way to work.

If that were the case he would willingly contact the police having nothing to hide and show them he went to work having the company validate that fact by showing them the time he clocked in and seen by other employees.

This is SOP for most police to say this even when they highly suspect the person they are seeking is involved.

They want him to think they need his help and only want to talk with him. They dont want to spook him or any family members that can identify him who may call LE to assist them.

Imo this is the one they suspect in the kidnapping of Hania.

Jmo

This reminds me (and yes, OBE, I think this IS our guy), I (and others) think he’s drinking. I’m pretty sure he took a swig off a bottle.

Now I don’t think it’s a big bottle, I think it’s a smaller bottle.

So maaaaaybe there is a discarded liquor bottle along the side of the road there were we he was walking, if he drank the whole thing. I see these a lot myself when I am walking.

I would think they would definitely have processed this area along his walking route, looking for cigarette butts and shoe prints, etc...do you think they might have looked for/found a bottle?

Yes I know they can go back a few years but thought this was the same. But still good for kidnappings and people who wander off or what to commit suicide, you can locate them before it's too late.

“The FBI's Evidence Response Team was set to process the vehicle for evidence, investigators said.“

I’m wondering if they maybe found some of Hania’s clothing in the vehicle? :(

(I’ve been reading her name all this time in my head as Hania rhymes with Shania (Twain), but I’m learning now via the videos her name is produced as rhyming with Tania/Tanya (not Tucker).)

Absolutely. I feel for that little girl. :(

From the quote in PM's post, I believe it was HNA's sister (HP) who was describing what she had seen. With HNA being the one who fell and screamed.

I haven't seen how old she is, but she is described as her "little sister."

From another article:
Aguilar’s little sister, [HP], was in the house at the time and saw what happened.

“Out of nowhere the man came in and they took her away. She fell and screamed and we couldn’t hear what she told us and then we went over there and we didn’t know what happened," [HP] said.

MOO MOO MOO MOO

my gut feeling is that the guy in the video is the escapee and he is the one that did this. :(

MOO MOO MOO MOO

BUT...I have been wrong before!

He walks like he has no permanent place to go. I have known, personally, people that are basically homeless, no permanent place to go. Crashing at people's homes or sleeping on the streets. To me he is walking the town like the people I used to know. Just walking, in darkness. This is the vibe I get from this guy.

Has it been determined by you guys how far( as in miles) he walked in these series of videos?

You guys are awesome!

Someone, if they care to mention themselves, (I asked them if they wanted to post this) just sent me some info on an escaped convict from NC on 10/14—has a rap sheet practically identical to the potential profile I posted last night.

I couldn't tell if he had gloves on or not in the video. If not he would have left some DNA in that SUV if he didn't clean it down. I realize he has to be in the system to get a hit, but maybe a relative would show up in CODIS. Never know.

FTR as I mentioned last night, I think I’ve done a complete 360 and now lean towards a random and opportunistic crime. MOO.

ETA:

FBI “there is no indication Hania knew her abductor” (at this time).
(Sorry no link, by memory iirc moo)

——

If he had been stalking her, maybe there would be more of an indication of this? People seeing him hanging around, etc? SM evidence, etc?

Again he would have to known she would be there at that time. There is no way he would know that unless he had seen her before which IS likely IF he has ties to the area, but again the carjacking and the “walking “...I think he was a bad guy out there looking for trouble and he took an opportunity as soon as it presented himself, moo. The carjacking MO is a big red flag for me.

Disorganized, opportunistic offender. With a rap sheet. Moo.

Maybe he was in the area buying drugs.
Just a thought considering this street MO I’m getting from him, jmo.

City task force targeting gangs | Robesonian

“LUMBERTON — Lumberton Police Chief Michael McNeill says a Special Enforcement team formed last month to crack down on gang activity has reduced crime overall in the city, and he hopes to take the initiative countywide.“

Snip

““We concentrated on Lumberton because we were having so many shootings, so many homicides … we just need to try to do this thing countywide,” he said.“

Snip

“Leon Burden, the executive director of Colors of Life, a gang prevention program, says the gang problem stretches to each corner of the county, estimating Robeson is home to more than 2,000 gang members of all allegiances.

“You’ve got Crips, you’ve got Bloods, you’ve got MS-13, you’ve got Latin Kings,” Burden said. “That’s just a few.”

According to Burden, gangs gained a foothold in Robeson County in the 1980s as a means to protect each neighborhood. Now, the focus has turned to selling drugs, and with drugs, come guns.“

Robeson county gangs climb to more than 60

“Off of Martin Luther King Junior drive, a gang investigator told News 13 that the area is the most well-known gang area in the county. He had a list of known gang members totaling more than 500 members but he estimated there were several hundred more.“

(How far is Red Springs? Just wondering.

MS-13 a threat to North Carolina

“MS -13 is involved in drug trafficking, robbery, larceny, human trafficking, extortion, racketeering, kidnapping, and arms trafficking. They have allies in the Mexican drug cartels and they are brutal and unforgiving.

Gang members are known by the tattoos that cover their bodies, including their faces.

As former Gov. Pat McCrory pointed out to me, North Carolina’s vast interstate network of highways and our explosive population growth has allowed MS-13 to spread into rural and urban areas in our state.“

'We have a huge crime problem:' Robeson County sheriff-elect talks plans for combating crime

“"Gangs, guns and drugs are the problem in this county," Wilkins said. "The majority of the crimes are related to one of those three things."
Reports released by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation show Robeson County leading the state in the number of crimes reported.
In 2016, Robeson County had the highest crime rate of 6,562 per 100,000 residents being victims, and one of the top violent crime rates of 779 out of every 100,000 residents.
Wilkins said it starts with the drug dealers.“

Robeson County - A Deadly County

“What really plagues this community is its murder rate. Twenty-three people for every 100,000 will be murdered in the county, as compared to about seven per 100,000 statewide, according to Department of Justice Statistics.”

the van just happening to be running and her just happening to be there the minute he sees his opportunity to get a child don't sit right with me. I think it was planned and he knew enough about her that she would be there, or even that this guy warmed up his car every morning, if he did, and he had a second person who was waiting to pick them up when they dumped the van.

he is definitely a street punk, he has the swag, but I don't know if drug dealers are into snatching kids from a bus stop. Most gangs or dealers have prostitutes that work for them, buy drugs from them, and when they don't pay, they work it off. But these girls are older, not kids taken from their home.

The little sister is 8 years old. I'll see if I can find the link.

ETA:
We talked with Hania's eight-year-old sister, HP*, with permission from her aunt.

HP* said her sister went to the car to start it for a relative who was taking them to school.

“Somewhere out of nowhere a man just came in. We don’t know where he came from and just pushed her in. I heard her scream for no reason. I heard her scream very loud," said HP*.

She said her mother is devastated and worried.

It was Hania who fell and screamed while being forced into the vehicle. She has more than one sister, but IIRC, the sister who said this was 8 years old.

“A female caller speaking Spanish was on the line, and the Robeson County dispatcher quickly requested a Spanish translator to join the call. Initial reports during the 911 described the abductor as a black male. During follow-up interviews, investigators determined the witness had not seen the race of the abductor because he was wearing all black, including long sleeves, and a yellow bandana over his face.“

—-

So caller felt he was a black male, whatever that means, but they couldn’t say for sure.

So he just happens to have a yellow bandana handy.

——

“Not only are bandanas an easy way to show gang affiliation they are also easy to remove if the situation calls for it (i.e. if confronted by law enforcement). Gang members are known for wearing bandanas around their face as a mask, or in their pocket, with it sticking out.“
