With the area being riddled with crime who's going to feel safe saying anything to LE?
I've been in situations I was afraid to tell LE what I knew in case the person wasn't arrested and came back for me or my family!

The little town of Red Springs was mentioned, and its population is 3,428; Fairmont is 2,678; Orrum is 2,017; Pembroke, home of UNC-Pembroke, is 2,973; and a few other little towns smaller than these -- all are rural farming towns. Pembroke does have a university which is part of the UNC System. The undergraduate population is 5,508.

Some additional notes fwiw, Hania and her family went to church in Red Springs every Friday night; Sara Graham lived in Fairmont and worked at the Walmart in Pembroke, se disappeared between 6:30 and 7:00 am/ish iirc (Again her dad is a cop and her stepmother was named a POI, what is the status of her case? Her car was found within a wheat field iirc.)

Red Springs is 19.5 miles from Lumbertob and comes up a lot also in gang/crime research, fwiw.

I think he did just that.

If the perp in the guy in the video (which we don't know), he's walking around in the early morning. He either doesn't have anything else to do than walk around, or he was walking to work and didn't care if the abduction made him miss work. imo

I think he grabbed Hania, assaulted her, dumped her body, and hid the car all within a very short time period. Under an hour, perhaps. By then, it's still morning. He had the rest of the day to walk to wherever he wanted to go. Or, walk for awhile and then call someone for a ride when he distanced himself from the vehicle. If Hania managed to injure him, maybe he didn't call anyone at all.

I think the vehicle was in the dump spot since the morning he took Hania. It was discovered on Thursday, but I think it was there all the time.

We need a break in the case....will the evidence from the SUV be helpful?

The only thing that makes me think he had someone tell him she was there is the fact that ended up on her street. I looked at the location and it's not a street you go to unless you live there. She was at the end of it, so if someone in that park knew she was there, maybe they told him and that is how he found her. It's not off a main road, like you would be walking past her or drive past her and see the opportunity. I think you are right there is a chance he ran into the woods, but the dogs didn't follow that path. Watch the video. I think someone was sitting there waiting and they may have milled around at the woods edge or into the woods while waiting on him, but not him. The evidence will only help if he is in the system or a relative is in the system.

I didn't realize that step mom was a POI. I knew she was fired from the PD but I didn't read she was a POI. When did I miss this?

Not sure if this is relevant but Lumberton, and the general area where she went missing, was ravaged by flooding in September of this year by Hurricane Florence. The Lumbee River and nearby Cape Fear Rivers were relentless for weeks after the storm. I am sure the area still has significant damage from this. Just providing this information as general knowledge of what's been going on there. I know crime and looting tends to go up during times following disasters, as well as stress. I have been through Lumberton, Elizabethtown, and these surrounding areas on vacation yearly as a child and young adult. We visited White Lake, NC, which is a tourist destination very near where this occurred.

That’s a good point. And even if the person is arrested, you know he has friends who are just as dangerous.

We are not allowed to sleuth family. Big No No on this forum.They are also victims at this point. But honestly I have not heard anything about her father.

That’s a good point. And even if the person is arrested, you know he has friends who are just as dangerous.

I wouldn't feel safe knowing dangerous criminals are free to wander among us. Particularly if they know I know something. Retaliation is the lesser risk, IMO. Then again, I'm armed/trained, live in an extremely low crime area, on first-name basis with trusted, local LE. I understand not everyone has that luxury. People shouldn't have to live in constant fear. With perps on the lose, there's no alternative.

Why can we not get an answer on Hania’s father in respect to his whereabouts with her missing?

It is reported Hania was at her aunts house. Where did her Mother live and any siblings she had? Why was she at her aunts? Was this a common occurrence?

Oh wow. I hope he is considering taking on this case. I have huge respect for him and the way he found Lucas so fast. It was truly amazing. He came in and found LH within one day of arriving on scene.

Of course he may not be able to have success like that all the time but I hope he takes on the case and tries. He is the real deal and wants to help in these kinds of cases.
