Deer cameras -- excellent request from the Lumberton Police Department.
It really does sound like all of LE involved in this case are really going to all lengths to find this young girl. Oh, I hope it pays off in a good way. Also, the reward money is piling up -- someone knows something, as we've all agreed. Money is dear to many in that area, so I hope something will come of the reward offering. Sometimes just one good tip will do it.
Crossing my fingers again and again.
And prayers for Hania, her family, Law Enforcement, and all of Robeson County to help out and to let her be found safe.

I hope and pray you are right. I hope and pray she is found alive! But, my heart sinks more each day she does not come home. We have lost so many lately. It would be nice to have a positive outcome in a few. Give all of us some renewed hope.
Please bring Hania home to her family.

Well, I sure hope someone isn't waiting for the reward to go up super high like it does in some cases before they turn in a tip. moo

“We are expanding our plea for surveillance video to hunters, if you have deer cameras in Robeson County and have any footage between November 5-8, call the tip line number at 910-272-5871.”

Deer cameras are obviously in the woods. The perp dumped the SUV at some point in the days after the abduction. I doubt he had Hania with him at this point. One option to get away from the SUV is to get picked up by someone; however if this driver was not involved, this ties the perp to the location and he could get turned in. Another option is to walk along the road to wherever you are going, this exposes you to identification from passing motorists. Third option is to go through the woods to stay undetected on the way to your destination. The fact that deer camera video is being sought makes me think the police believe he walked away from the SUV through the woods. And potentially walked home somewhere within a few mile radius. Map of Quincey Drive area is attached showing a few direction through the woods that could be taken with minimal chance of detection.

FBI asking Robeson deer hunters for video in search for missing 13-year-old
Robeson County deer hunters are being asked to turn over any surveillance videos to the FBI as the search for Hania Aguilar continues.

An earlier plea from the FBI and the Lumberton Police Department for business or home surveillance video has now been expanded to deer hunters.

“It is vitally important we find every piece of video that may help us determine the exact movements of the stolen SUV from Rosewood Mobile Home Park to Quincey Drive where it was found on Nov. 8,” the FBI said in a statement released Tuesday.

“We are expanding our plea for surveillance video to hunters, if you have deer cameras in Robeson County and have any footage between November 5-8, call the tip line number at 910-272-5871.”

FBI asking hunters for deer camera video as search for kidnapped teen continues
News outlets report the agency said in a statement Tuesday that they needed "every piece of video" that could help determine the exact movements of the SUV stolen from the mobile home park where Hania Aguilar was kidnapped Nov. 5.

Authorities searched more areas on foot Tuesday using drones and dogs.

Meanwhile, investigators are still trying to track down a man who was seen in surveillance footage walking in the neighborhood on the morning when Hania was abducted. The three videos, which the FBI released earlier this month, show the unidentified man wearing light-colored shoes, a light-colored shirt and a hoodie.

The man is not considered a suspect or person of interest at this time. Rather, he’s someone authorities “want to speak with” because he may be able to help investigators narrow down a timeline of Hania’s kidnapping, according to FBI supervisor Andy de la Rocha.

So far, investigators said there’s no indication to believe Hania isn’t alive.

FBI asks deer hunters to check video devices in search for Hania Aguilar
The FBI is hoping to find video from Highway 41/Elizabethtown Road and any side streets, especially Popes Crossing Road, Wire Grass Road, and Lovett Road in Robeson County.

"Let us determine whether or not the footage you have can provide us with any investigative clues," said Lynch.

FBI Agents, SBI agents, and Lumberton Police detectives searched more areas on foot Tuesday, using drones and a specially trained dog.

FBI asks hunters to share game camera footage in Hania search
Over the last two weeks, federal and local authorities have pleaded with the public to share surveillance video with investigators. Tuesday, the FBI expanded their calls by requesting hunters to share footage from the game cameras.

"If you have deer cameras in Robeson County and have any footage between November 5th-8th, call the tip line number at 910-272-5871," the FBI said in a release Tuesday.

The search for Hania could be seen on the ground Tuesday, as FBI and SBI agents, along with Lumberton Police detectives, searched areas by foot, by drone and with a specially-trained K-9.

Because whomever is in that video scaees them more. They have children to protect, are terrified of retaliation and don’t have means to get out of that area. The reward needs to be clarified that they will protect who comes forward & relocate them. JMO
Very much agree! LE does need to let everyone be sure of anonymity. Even then the persons who could help may hesitate.

Could there be some way the film could be dropped into a box or chute or something? I would think the FBI would have a way to do it. SMH.

If folks in the area are that afraid of doing something that might include a reward and doing the right thing, then this area is in deeper trouble than I, someone who grew up there (and left when I was 18 yrs old, a couple of decades ago), am just cringing at what has become of my hometown.

It's just awful to see what happens to those cities/towns who are left with few job opportunities which provide their families with a living wage, or those who lack the skills to find employment.

Lumberton

The FBI has expanded the pool of surveillance footage it is requesting from Robeson County residents to include any hunting camera footage recorded in the county during the week of 13-year-old Hania Aguilar’s kidnapping.
[...]
“Let us determine whether or not the footage you have can provide us with any investigative clues,” the FBI said in a news release.

Geese. No offense but what is up with Lumberton? FBI has been asking residential and commercial people with video to help. And they get silence. Get out the warrants! Do some of those off the record tactics LE uses to make these people cooperate. The ways of playing nice is over. IMO. Ps. After reading of incidents on here, I’m Never going to N.C. !
Who are "these people"? Not being snarky at all, but who would they be? I would think they've already talked to the folks in the trailer park and the owner/manager of the park. I would think if LE has seen cameras in any suspected areas, they've at least contacted them. Dunno, but they've had two weeks to go all over nearby areas. We don't know how many people they've contacted door-to-door, business-to-business. It is certainly frustrating for everyone who cares about Hania.
And if they have any leads, they surely won't let the public know. Each day that passes makes finding her less likely -- but LE could be following good leads already -- no need to let the "bad guy" know how close they may be -- let's hope!

Good evening.
Here's the latest update on our search to #FindHania. There is a lot of investigative work taking place. Since Hania was kidnapped on November 5th the Lumberton Police Department and the FBI along with a number of law enforcement partners have followed close to 800 leads. We've conducted hundreds of interviews, some people we've talked to several times as we get new information and hope to get more details to help us find our Hania. We've done at least 400 interviews in person, that doesn't count those leads we've followed with the help of law enforcement partners throughout the country. If you have information to help us #FindHania Call the tip line at 910-272-5871.

I'm encouraged that LE have spoken to so many people and are following up on so many leads. For a while it seemed like they were begging for cooperation. They are still asking for camera footage though. I really hope they get what they need. One camera was all it took to catch Mollie Tibbetts' murderer. That one video showing the car was enough but it took a while to get. They just need people to turn in their videos, even if they don't think there is anything important on them. My thoughts and prayers go out to Hania's family. It must be so hard to even think of having a holiday with Hania still missing. My Thanksgiving dinner would be canceled if this was my daughter. I would want to spend the day searching or doing something, anything that I thought could bring her home. My heart breaks for them. :(

Happy Thanksgiving to all that are here and following the case. I had hoped she would be home by today and eating with her family, but that is not the case. So keep her story alive in anyway you can. Hania if you are out there, people are praying for you.
