What Are Some Gang Bandanna Colors?
Latin Kings gang members may wear either black or yellow bandanas. The suspect here wore black clothing with the yellow bandana. Not sure if it means anything or not...
...Changed my mind - your research may be highly relevant. Google images of Latin Kings and see, eveything they wear is black & gold, or black & yellow. Google Latin Kings North Carolina, very violent and lots of articles about arrests, etc.
As an aside, Pembroke State University (UNC Pembroke) is located nearby in the same county, Robeson. The school colors are also black & gold, which gives this street gang the ability to make excuses for wearing those colors.
Latin Kings began in Chicago but has spread to 34 states. This link says their color is yellow:

Yes, I saw the Latin Kings, but didn’t know if they would be local to Lumberton. Also was unsure about wearing yellow exclusively, as the wording made it sound like they wear black & yellow bandanas in particular. What Are Some Gang Bandanna Colors?

Aha! That is useful info. Thanks. In that part of town, it’s less likely to be gang related. If it was on the south or west side I would be more worried.
As for bandannas, we are still recovering from Hurricane Florence and some of the Disaster relief centers were giving away bandannas. They are pretty common around here.
Thanks.
Seems like an area where a pedestrian would stand out as unusual, is that right?

I'll move the bandanna down the list of clues, but still keeping it on the list.

The bandanna might a red (or yellow!) herring, but one more idea I'll just toss out there....I know a man that works with gangs here in Lumberton. I’ll try to track him down and ask him.
Apsolutely agree with this. Not gang relatedCould be, but I think it would be unwise for a wannabe to be displaying gang colors if he isn't actually in the gang.
I don't know if the bandanna is a gang color, of course. But, it's a possibility.

The entrance to hornets rd is right next to the Kia dealer.Ive been studying it and I agree that I think he left on Hornets Road and exited right at the Kia dealer and made a left onto East Elizabethtown road.
Because in that brand new video you can see the same "Car City" big red sign. Google maps is obviously older and doesnt show the new mobile homes right on the corner as he made the left.
So he was last headed towards the Food Lion once he made the left onto Elizabethtown.
Its great that LE is honing in on where he went. Lets hope they have more video by now.
The vehicle turned left off of Hornets road and headed east on Route 41/Elizabethtown Road. So, the info we have is:
* Lone perp walking in a trailer park in the early morning wearing all black and a yellow bandanna over his face.
* Young teenage girl outside family member's trailer starting the vehicle, like she has done before.
* Scream heard. Witness sees perp force Hania into the vehicle and drive off.
* 9-11 is called immediately, though some delay relaying information due to language.
* SUV is spotted on video leaving the trailer park and near a wooded area.
Am I missing anything?
way back here on page 3, so not sure if it was discussed but my son has a state issued id and he is 13 because he flies between me and his dad for holidays and summer vacations, alone.Per googling, I believe it is a state issued photo ID for a minor, ie the vertical orientation. Still not sure why a 13 year old would need one though.

As a local, what's your hunch? It’s starting to rain here, so I may loose internet. I’ll try to get online in the morning if y’all have any questions.
