I don't know if it has been like this for awhile or not, but I noticed recently that her NAMUS page no longer mentions that the lower jaw was not found. I feel like it used to have that listed in the "inventory of remains" section. Now it says "all parts recovered." Wondering if perhaps her jaw was found somehow?

I was wondering with the chipped tooth (?), the clothing choices, (although these might have simply been 80's fashion too), slight build and the neck/back injuries, if she may have been a gymnast/dancer?

Some of the descriptions mention a leotard, and just the overall feel seems a bit dancer to me.

Susan Libby Marable is a couple of years older, but I feel shares some resemblance to the reconstructions. At 5 ft to 5 ft 2 and 85-90 lbs, her build is definitely slight.

She was last seen getting into a truck, during a night out with friends. Her personal style seems a bit more hippie/"West Coast" to me given the information available, but maybe?

Susan disappeared from WA in April of 1991, so not quite a year, and opposite coast. There is that too. Something about her caught my attention though.

Another missing woman to consider: Vikki Lynn Vukelich, last seen Feb 23, 1991 in Glenwood, Illinois. 5' 1" - 5' 4", 110 lbs

I can see some resemblance and Vikki's clothing stands out to me. She was last seen at 9 pm: Possibly wearing night clothes: long sleeve shirt, sweatpants, and socks.

Could "synthetic slip on shoes with a bow" be slippers?

In my opinion I wouldn't be surprised if this jane doe ends up not being white. Especially with the recent ID of Missy Poitra. I take the race estimation with a grain of salt with skeletal remains. It has lead the investigation in the wrong direction in multiple cases.

To elaborate, a few examples I have are actually other NC cases:

• Randi Booth who was also found in Onslow county in the 90's was estimated to be white when she was black. This mistake wasn't noticed until a lot later.
• Bobby Whitt was originally estimated to be hispanic and likely a child of a migrant worker. When he was actually white/asian. Shortly after he was confirmed to be of asian descent him and his mother were ID'd.

Just an observation; I have noticed a lot of people that had black hair being listed as red when skeletal remains are found. Is this naturally how decomposition effects this hair color? Missy Poitra was originally estimated to have red hair and the same for Randi Booth.

I think certain environments can actually cause this - I specifically remember reading that the bog bodies found in the UK had primarily red hair due to changes caused by the intense acid exposure they'd have in the peat bogs. No idea if that's possible here.

I do not see this UID on the comparisons for Robin. Agree the clothing sounds close. A white top could certainly turn grey or brown with exposure to elements. The black pants fit and the footwear is similar, even if the color is different.

It looks as though Robin has been compared to several UIDs in Virginia, so perhaps there is some reason to believe she traveled South? Seems worth a closer look to me.

I feel like nothing is a long shot with this case. This area is very close to a military base so this lady could be from anywhere really. Even from out of the country. She does kinda look like Marie

Maybe it's her expression in this photo, but Moody has an uncanny resemblance to the Doe. It would be great if we knew more about her circumstances.
