PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Volunteers with the Cue Center for Missing Persons and law enforcement officers are trying to determine if they should search another area for clues into the disappearance of Kyle Brackett.

Jonathan Kyle Brackett.
Age: 18.
Missing from: Carolina Beach.
Date missing: Aug. 1, 2009.
Summary: Brackett was last seen in the company of people who worked for the carnival at Carolina Beach. He picked up his last paycheck from Carolina Beach and told a friend that he would not be there the following day, as he was leaving. He did not state where he was going.

National Missing Children’s Day highlights cases of kids who disappeared

Kyle Brackett – Missing since August 1, 2009

Kyle Brackett, 18, is from Carolina Beach, but was last seen in Surf City where he was visiting family.

Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact the Carolina Beach Police Department at 910-458-2540.

I was in Carolina Beach constantly in 2009 and me and Jonathan are both the same age. It makes me wonder if we have crossed paths at one point or another. I knew some of the carnies for the summer boardwalk rides. Some were very sketchy and questionable individuals. One guy was a fugitive even. Others were young kids like us but some were heavy drug users regardless of how young they were (not saying Jonathan was, just describing that crowd from someone that was there). I hope to hear he left of his own accord or is somewhere out there living life.

Where did you find that information. I did read where (I think I remember correctly) that he graduated or attended Topsail High School.

Topsail High School is located in Pender County north of Wilmington in Hampstead, NC.
