The New Hanover County Sheriffs Office is searching for a woman who has been missing since Jan. 5.
Julie Ann Strickland, 36, was last seen between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Jan. 5 at 117 Navaho Trail, according to a sheriffs office news release. A family friend stated that he observed Strickland in the passengers seat of a 2005 Toyota Sienna on Market Street around 6:30 p.m. Jan. 7, the release stated.
Strickland is a Native American woman, 55″, slim build, and 125 pounds with brown eyes and long brown hair. She has a 3-inch scar on her left arm and was last seen wearing a brown jacket, brown shoes and pants.
