The digging has arms that reach many.
Those close to the victim are always investigated in an unsolved case.
Info uncovered about them in interviews and background checks would never be made public during an investigation, in any case. However, if their focus is on the sister, the SW's will likely have background details in the probable cause affidavit.....obviously sealed so she is not 'tipped' she is a person of interest.
Hopefully, the SW's and 911 call(s) will be unsealed when the 30 order expires 4-9-10.
Interesting facts in the seal order
1- Two 911 calls made
2- Two search warrants executed (house and the sister's car?)
3- "Release of these documents could expose hearsay evidence about the offense which may prejudice the public against anyone charged and arrested for the crime"

Hmmm, sounds like they are worried about statements made in the SW's about the sister. Obviously, 1 SW would be for the residence she was killed. The other is likely the car or residence of the sister.
