I searched for a Jason Williford in Raleigh on Facebook and came up with a guy playing a guitar which led me to MySpace and a site for a band called The Authority with a short write up on Jason Williford. Looking at the band's pictures (you have click on Pics on their page) I think this might be the same Jason Williford. All the pictures are pretty blurry. The band's location is listed as Raleigh/Greenville. Here is the link:

i would have pegged him as the electrician identified in an earlier post. Yea, I know I'm stereotyping and thinking wral has the wrong JKW

Very interesting about the Greenville connection. Wonder if JW knew any of the Tafts??

This is bizarre.

Jason Williford, founder, bassist, and vocalist, started the band to try something new in the music scene of Raleigh. He has played in such bands as Mourning Wood, Traces of Morrow, and Pangaea and the Super Continent.

Me too. My son is close to his age, and a musician. I cannot imagine the heartbreak of his parents. I hope they have solid support. I would point out there is evidently more than one Jason Williford in NC. We should be sure who it is we are speaking of....

Wondering now if indeed he was the same person police determined broke into the house in the same neighborhood and the reason they didn't release the name or make an arrest was they were waiting to make the big arrest for the KT crime. I am betting so.

Just want to point out that Adam Lewis is the Classical Guitar Graduate from ECU, not Jason Williford, according to the site. Again, we need to make sure this is the same person. Evidently someone is on the site now from The Authority. I am sure he is being bombarded with instant messages.

I think it's a good chance they are all related. It seems as if someone was on a rampage.

Did you notice in the mug shot as oppossed to the other photos that he looks MUCH thinner. Wonder what's up with that? Was he currently an active member with the band?

This looks like the same person to me Seems to me there is too much Greenville connection with JW's sister having lived there and the band Raleigh/Greenville. The myspace account states that Adam Lewis is the one that graduated from ECU. Just seeingJW's picture, you would never guess that he did such a thing. He looks like the average guy to me but apparently, you can't go on looks. Pretty clean cut looking guy but apparently he has a lot of problems to say the least. Wonder if he ever Played at GG?
