What is 'Old Crow'? I didn't realize there was any sort of liquor that sold for $7.50 for a fifth?

Morning peoplesssssssssss :coffeews: --I can't believe I made it in earlier just to watch the trial. Wowza me. Wudat on the stand?

Witness who just left was first of the day. An old partying and music making buddy of JW. Seemed like a choir boy by comparison.

I wonder if "Dan," his drinking buddy on the night in question, will be called to testify. Does anyone know how to find the witness list?

Wow, Boods -- BINGO!!!! (ESP or what??!!) lol

I am not a drinker but I think it's bourbon. I think the judge's reference to 750 was ml. (size) and not cost.

Man, it doesn't seem to matter how *early* I drag myself out of bed, I'm still in a lull.

:-) Morning all.

Get some Ritalin, Baby!!!

(Oops, another smilie -- I guess I've flunked Step One. I'm going back to the beginning....)

:fence: Shame on you, borndem. I took the smilie oath last night. :seeya: Looks like we've fallen off the wagon. :floorlaugh:

Simple minds/simple pleasures is what I say.

:what:
Laces -- Since you're such a trial nut, as am I, I will ask you this question....

Do you ever take notes during testimony? Like in a little notebook or something? Not that I do <choke>, or anything

We're back to witnesses --

:what:I have been known to take elaborate notes...LOL However, I do that more in the initial stages of the investigation. LOL.

That's what I thought too, but then Dan said $7.50 price, so I was confused. We've just always called the 750 ml. 'a fifth'.

I need to brush up on my liquor sizes myself. I don't know why they call it a fiifth, and I was thinking the 750 referred to 750 ml bottle .....LOL
i'm such a big drinker.:Banane45:

Well, my snooty friend -- so you only drink the good stuff? Macallans or nothing at all?

It's cheap bourbon, IINM. It's an old, old brand. I don't drink at all due to bad genes, but I've heard of it. Cheap wine, cheap beer (Keystone), cheap liquor -- kids' stuff.

I asked my hubby, I remember asking him that once when we were young, but he can't remember anymore. :( Altzheimers perhaps? :p I remember once, long ago, he told me 'because it was a fifth of some other measurement'.

Wait a minute, I thought only wealthy movie stars caught cheating had sex addictions?

So this lady is a Social Worker, not a Clinical Psychologist or a Psychiatrist. 35 clients. So far, not impressed.
