I disagree. I think that the reason LE knew he had the gun was because he brandished it while in his car. If it was still in his ankle holster they would never seen it. JMO

So while in his car, and while the police were sitting in their car, he pointed the weapon specifically at them? I have not read this anywhere. Only that they supposedly "saw" he had a gun while they were seated in their car. If so, why is that illegal in an open carry state?

I feel like they'd have been very specific about it had he been "brandishing" the weapon. AFAIK, they "saw" him "holding" the handgun. *shrug*
